Book Review: The upside of the unrequited Becky Albertalli

The Upside of Unrequited (Simonverse, #2)The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

October 15- 23

Seventeen-year-old Molly Peskin-Suso knows all about unrequited love—she’s lived through it twenty-six times. She crushes hard and crushes often, but always in secret. Because no matter how many times her twin sister, Cassie, tells her to woman up, Molly can’t stomach the idea of rejection. So she’s careful. Fat girls always have to be careful.

Then a cute new girl enters Cassie’s orbit, and for the first time ever, Molly’s cynical twin is a lovesick mess. Meanwhile, Molly’s totally not dying of loneliness—except for the part where she is. Luckily, Cassie’s new girlfriend comes with a cute hipster-boy sidekick. Will is funny and flirtatious and just might be perfect crush material. Maybe more than crush material. And if Molly can win him over, she’ll get her first kiss and she’ll get her twin back.

There’s only one problem: Molly’s coworker Reid. He’s an awkward Tolkien superfan with a season pass to the Ren Faire, and there’s absolutely no way Molly could fall for him. Right?

Review : This book was so freaking cute I related to Molly so much in this book she’s a curvy girl and she has anxiety . Molly has had 27 crushes but no boyfriends she has a twin sister and two mom’s I wasn’t a big fan of Molly’s sister I thought she could be kinda a bitch . Molly ends up introducing Cassie to her future girlfriend and then mostly after Mina comes into the picture Cassie kinda drifts away from Molly and cassie wants Molly to date Mina’s best friend Will and Molly doesn’t think will has any interest in her and then there is Reid who is just so freaking adorable I shipped him and Molly like on first meeting they just click together and Molly starts to like Reid more than a friend and when her friend Olivia looks like she has some interest in Reid Molly freaks out and gets Mad at Reid and to make him jealous she hangs out with will who doesn’t like her that way . The cool thing about this book is we got cameo’s from Simon who I love and Abby is Molly’s cousin . But Molly tells Reid how she feels which was so sweet and they kiss and next was there mom’s wedding which was so sweet I loved this book . The one problem I had was the gradmother yes she use to to be big but insulting Molly like that wasn’t cool .

Quotes:

I don’t entirely understand how anyone gets a boyfriend. Or a girlfriend. It just seems like the most impossible odds. You have to have a crush on the exact right person at the exact right moment. And they have to like you back. A perfect alignment of feelings and circumstances. It’s almost unfathomable that it happens as often as it does.”

There’s just something terrifying about admitting you like someone. In a way, it’s actually easier when there’s no chance of anything happening. But there’s this threshold where things suddenly become possible. And then your cards are on the table. And there you are, wanting, right out in the open.”

I’m on the toilet at the 9:30 Club and I’m wondering how mermaids pee.”

It’s funny, because you always think the hard part is meeting someone the first time. It’s not. It’s the second time, because you’ve already used up all the obvious topics of conversation. And even if you haven’t, it’s strange and heavy-handed to introduce random conversational topics at this stage in the game. Hi, Reid. Let’s converse about topics. HOW MANY SIBLINGS DO YOU HAVE? WHAT BOOKS DO YOU LIKE?”

Okay, I just gotta say it.” The guy touches my arm. “You are fucking gorgeous for a big girl.”
I freeze.
“It’s a compliment!”
I look at him. “Fuck you.

I’m not trying to over think things. I’m trying to be less careful . but you have to be your hearts own goalie

Execpt – oh god- what if the machine announces it
CONDOMS! TWELVE ninety nine ! Please place your GIANT box of condoms in the bag . oh but your VALUE pack of condoms is too big for our sensors . Please wait, and someone will assist you shortly .

I’m just letting him know – she start typing that Olivia would be happy to get waxed if he’s willing to wax his tiny , microscopic little peen at the same time ….

July 26- 29

When BFFs Charlie, Taylor and Jamie go to SupaCon, they know it’s going to be a blast. What they don’t expect is for it to change their lives forever.

Charlie likes to stand out. SupaCon is her chance to show fans she’s over her public breakup with co-star, Reese Ryan. When Alyssa Huntington arrives as a surprise guest, it seems Charlie’s long-time crush on her isn’t as one-sided as she thought.

While Charlie dodges questions about her personal life, Taylor starts asking questions about her own.

Taylor likes to blend in. Her brain is wired differently, making her fear change. And there’s one thing in her life she knows will never change: her friendship with Jamie—no matter how much she may secretly want it to. But when she hears about the Queen Firestone SupaFan Contest, she starts to rethink her rules on playing it safe.

Review : I loved this book it was a perfect summer read for a geeky girl like me this book is about Charlie , Taylor and Jamie they are all going to Supacon cause there all geeky people Charlie she is a youtuber and actress and is promoting her film . Taylor who i really related to cause she has social anxiety . This book was really cute with moments of Jamie flirting with Taylor and taylor blushing right away I found so cute . Taylor and Jamie end up not being able to meet taylor’s favorite author but Jamie tells Taylor about this contest but she doesn’t want to enter cause of her anxiety until she meets Josie a girl with autism and Taylor decides to run . Charlie wants to avoid to asshole ex boyfriend and there is this girl she really likes who is also a youtuber they end up filming a colab and end up kissing and then they plan to have a date . Charlie’s ex boyfriend ends up telling taylor the only way she’s become a writer is if she sleeps with someone and he ends up punching Jamie this guy is an asshole . Charlie does this live action thing for her movie and Taylor and Jamie end up Joining in the maze and Taylor and Jamie kiss I was so happy for them but Taylor freaked out Jamie thought he was pressuring her but she wanted to kiss him . Charlie and Alyssa’s kiss gets leaked and she’s freaking out and Alyssa doesn’t want to hide the relationship so Charlie makes a speech and her and Alyssa talk . Jamie and Taylor end up being able to go to the party and Taylor meets her favorite author this was such a cute book I loved it .
Quotes:
That’s what we do. We walk a tightrope every day. Getting out the door is a tightrope. Going grocery shopping is a tightrope. Socializing is a tightrope. Things that most people consider to be normal, daily parts of life are the very things we fear and struggle with the most, and yet here we are, moving forward anyway. That’s not weak.”

“My bottom lip starts to quiver, but I keep going. “I fight every day, and too many times it’s just not enough and the fear wins. I’m so fucking weak and everything is so fucking intense and sometimes I really hate it.” I gasp, covering my mouth with my hands as the tears pour out of me. I didn’t mean to say all that. I feel exposed. Tears fill her eyes, too. “Can I hug you?” I nod, unable to speak. She walks around the table and hugs me.”

Book Review: The Hate you give Angie Thomas

The Hate U Give (The Hate U Give, #1)The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

June 4-9

Sixteen-year-old Starr Carter moves between two worlds: the poor neighborhood where she lives and the fancy suburban prep school she attends. The uneasy balance between these worlds is shattered when Starr witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend Khalil at the hands of a police officer. Khalil was unarmed.

Soon afterward, his death is a national headline. Some are calling him a thug, maybe even a drug dealer and a gangbanger. Protesters are taking to the streets in Khalil’s name. Some cops and the local drug lord try to intimidate Starr and her family. What everyone wants to know is: what really went down that night? And the only person alive who can answer that is Starr.

But what Starr does or does not say could upend her community. It could also endanger her life.

Review : This book was very powerful when at a party with her friend she runs into her old friend Khalil and when shots go off he brings her to his car then a cop stops him and ends up shooting Khalil in front of star and she is hurting and doesn’t know what she should do she wants to speak out to help Khalil so she starts to speak she wants that cop to be arested but she knows it won’t happen which is very fucked up I mean he killed him . There is also this big drug dealer who may try to go after star cause she snitched . Star goes to a fancy school and she is a different kind of person she has a boyfriend named Chris and I really love them together and she has two friends Maya and Hailey I hated Hailey she made these remarks and I wanted to punch her and when the news came out with all the Khalil stuff she felt bad for the cop when the cop killed Khalil . And when Hailey said he would of died anyway cause he was a drug dealer I wanted to punch her and star did . When it’s announced that the cop won’t get jail time Star freaks out and wants to take a stand and she does I really loved this book it gave a message that we all need to read this and speak out .
Quotes : “Sometimes you can do everything right and things will still go wrong. The key is to never stop doing right.”

At an early age I learned that people make mistakes, and you have to decide if their mistakes are bigger than your love for them.”

Brave doesn’t mean you’re not scared. It means you go on even though you’re scared.”

Why does Chris always have to be lil’l to you ? I ask . He’s not little . You better be talking about his height says Daddy , Amen , Uncle Carlos adds and they fist bump again.

That’s the problem. We let people say stuff, and they say it so much that it becomes okay to them and normal for us. What’s the point of having a voice if you’re gonna be silent in those moments you shouldn’t be?”

“Once upon a time there was a hazel-eyed boy with dimples. I called him Khalil. The world called him a thug.
He lived, but not nearly long enough, and for the rest of my life I’ll remember how he died.
Fairy tale? No. But I’m not giving up on a better ending.”

“Once you’ve seen how broken someone is it’s like seeing them naked—you can’t look at them the same anymore.”

Review : I loved this book it made me cry I loved these characters . Giffin’s ex boyfriend died and he’s having trouble dealing with it I loved how it was talked in the past and present.Griffin starts chatting with Jackson there’s boyfriend Griffin never liked Jackson cause he was still in love with Theo but he broke up with Theo cause he wanted Theo to enjoy college and then Theo meets Jackson and he loves them both which is kinda fucked up cause Theo was mostly stringing Griffin along . Griffin decides to talk to wade who was theo’s best friend and his friend who he ended up sleeping with multiple times they decided to just be friends . Jackson visits again and him and Griffin talk Wade is very jealous . I feel like wade and Griffin will get together but griffin had to let Theo go I loved this book very emotional .
Quotes:
Time doesn’t heal all wounds. We both know that’s bullshit; it comes from people who have nothing comforting or original to say.”

People are complicated puzzles, always trying to piece together a complete picture, but sometimes we get it wrong and sometimes we’re left unfinished. Sometimes that’s for the best. Some pieces can’t be forced into a puzzle, or at least they shouldn’t be, because they won’t make sense.”

“History is nothing. It can be recycled or thrown away completely. It isn’t this sacred treasure chest I mistook it to be. We were something, but history isn’t enough to keep something alive forever.”

Griffin . Hey
No way
I freeze at the sound of my dad’s voice He’s right behind us.
I honestly think Id rather be caught masterbating .
wade laughs a little to himself probably. because this is going to be painfully humiliating .

I’ll never understand how time can make a moment feel as close as yesterday and as far as years.”

“But hey, if there’s one bright side to your dying, it’s that you aren’t around to tell me things I don’t like hearing. I’m sorry. That was a dickhead thing to say. I need a condom for my mouth.

The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

January 10- Febuary 22

Natasha: I’m a girl who believes in science and facts. Not fate. Not destiny. Or dreams that will never come true. I’m definitely not the kind of girl who meets a cute boy on a crowded New York City street and falls in love with him. Not when my family is twelve hours away from being deported to Jamaica. Falling in love with him won’t be my story.

Daniel: I’ve always been the good son, the good student, living up to my parents’ high expectations. Never the poet. Or the dreamer. But when I see her, I forget about all that. Something about Natasha makes me think that fate has something much more extraordinary in store—for both of us.

The Universe: Every moment in our lives has brought us to this single moment. A million futures lie before us. Which one will come true?

Review : This book was beautiful I loved Everything , Everything and I loved this book
Natasha’s family is being deported and Natasha’s working her hardest to have that not happen Daniel is a poet his family wants him to go to Harvard and be a doctor they both meet and talk and spend some time with each other I love Daniel he’s caring a good poet and he cares for Natasha . They end up making out Natasha meets Daniel’s family . Daniel’s brother is a fucking asshole he treats Daniel like crap . Natasha and Daniel part way they fight cause Natasha tells him that she’s being deported but Natasha wants to see Daniel she finds a lawer who might be able to help . She gets Daniel’s number after Daniel and his brother got in a fist fight they meet back up go up to a roof and kiss and Daniel goes to his college interview which turns out is the same Lawer and he couldn’t stop her deportation they have to leave Daniel goes to her house with her .Years pass they grow apart until they meet again on a plane I loved this book so much one of my new favorites .

Quotes :
Natasha is different . She believes in determinism —- cause and effect . One action leads to another leads to another . Your actions determine your fate .
In this way she’s not unlike Daniel’s dad .
Daniel lives in the nebulous space in between . Maybe he wasn’t meant to meet Natasha today. Maybe it was random chance after all .
But.
Once they met , the rest of it , the love between them , was inevitable

“Maybe part of falling in love with someone else is also falling in love with yourself.”

“Stars are important,” I say, laughing.

“Sure, but why not more poems about the sun? The sun is also a star, and it’s our most important one. That alone should be worth a poem or two.”

“We have big, beautiful brains. We invent things that fly. Fly. We write poetry. You probably hate poetry, but it’s hard to argue with ‘Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate’ in terms of sheer beauty. We are capable of big lives. A big history. Why settle? Why choose the practical thing, the mundane thing? We are born to dream and make the things we dream about.”

Observable Fact: I don’t believe in magic.
Observable Fact: We are magic.

Quotes
You can have anything,” she said, “once you admit you deserve it.”

I know it hurts. I know it hurts so bad you can barely breathe sometimes. I know because I’ve been there. Please don’t leave us. I promise life can be good, and we need you too much.”

Maybe secrets were part of life; maybe everyone had something they were lying to themselves about, or something they were hiding.
I looked up at the cross again and wondered if I was supposed to hear this particular sermon at this particular moment for a reason. I decided that the people who had said God didn’t love me, who said I didn’t have a place on Earth—they were wrong. God wanted me to live, and this was the only way I knew how to survive, so this was what God wanted. This was what I wanted. I had chosen to live, and it seemed like, finally, I was doing just that.”

“I wondered if joy could ever be felt by itself without being tainted with fear and confusion, or if some level of misery was a universal constant, like the speed of light.”

For as long as I could remember, I had been apologizing for existing, for trying to be who I was, to live the life I was meant to lead.”

Book Review: Furiously happy a funny book about horrible things Jenny Lawson

Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible ThingsFuriously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things by Jenny Lawson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Book review : Furiously happy by jenny lawson December 20-24

In LET’S PRETEND THIS NEVER HAPPENED, Jenny Lawson baffled readers with stories about growing up the daughter of a taxidermist. In her new book, FURIOUSLY HAPPY, Jenny explores her lifelong battle with mental illness. A hysterical, ridiculous book about crippling depression and anxiety? That sounds like a terrible idea. And terrible ideas are what Jenny does best.

According to Jenny: “Some people might think that being ‘furiously happy’ is just an excuse to be stupid and irresponsible and invite a herd of kangaroos over to your house without telling your husband first because you suspect he would say no since he’s never particularly liked kangaroos. And that would be ridiculous because no one would invite a herd of kangaroos into their house. Two is the limit. I speak from personal experience. My husband says that none is the new limit. I say he should have been clearer about that before I rented all those kangaroos.”

“Most of my favorite people are dangerously fucked-up but you’d never guess because we’ve learned to bare it so honestly that it becomes the new normal. Like John Hughes wrote in The Breakfast Club, ‘We’re all pretty bizarre. Some of us are just better at hiding it.’ Except go back and cross out the word ‘hiding.'”

Jenny’s first book, LET’S PRETEND THIS NEVER HAPPENED, was ostensibly about family, but deep down it was about celebrating your own weirdness. FURIOUSLY HAPPY is a book about mental illness, but under the surface it’s about embracing joy in fantastic and outrageous ways-and who doesn’t need a bit more of that?
Review : I loved this book I loved the way Jenny talked about living with anxiety and depression I read this with the audiobook it was so funny and relate able I’ve had anxiety since I was 11 or 12 . And reading this book made me see that I’m not alone others have the same or different problems as me . I highly recommend reading this book if you have anxiety or just want to understand it . She talks about being married and having a daughter and other crazy things that have happened to her and when she talks about things that could happen in her head I’m like I totally understand .
Quotes
i’m alergic to latex and it makes me break out in a rash so most condoms are out for me because the last thing any of us want is a vagina rash . The alternative is the ones made out of sheepskin , but it always creeps me out because does that mean Victor and I are having sex with a sheep ? A dead sheep , actually . So bestiality and necrophilia . And a three way ,I think . I actually mentioned this to Victor and he immediately booked a vasectomy , which is sweet because it’s nice he cares about me . He claimed it was less his caring and more ” Id rather have my nuts cut off than have to listen to you talk about having three ways with dead sheep.

When you come out of the grips of a depression there is an incredible relief, but not one you feel allowed to celebrate. Instead, the feeling of victory is replaced with anxiety that it will happen again, and with shame and vulnerability when you see how your illness affected your family, your work, everything left untouched while you struggled to survive. We come back to life thinner, paler, weaker … but as survivors. Survivors who don’t get pats on the back from coworkers who congratulate them on making it. Survivors who wake to more work than before because their friends and family are exhausted from helping them fight a battle they may not even understand. I hope to one day see a sea of people all wearing silver ribbons as a sign that they understand the secret battle, and as a celebration of the victories made each day as we individually pull ourselves up out of our foxholes to see our scars heal, and to remember what the sun looks like.”

Don’t sabotage yourself. There are plenty of other people willing to do that for free.”

Without the dark there isn’t light. Without the pain there is no relief. And I remind myself that I’m lucky to be able to feel such great sorrow, and also such great happiness. I can grab on to each moment of joy and live in those moments because I have seen the bright contrast from dark to light and back again. I am privileged to be able to recognize that the sound of laughter is a blessing and a song, and to realize that the bright hours spent with my family and friends are extraordinary treasures to be saved, because those same moments are a medicine, a balm. Those moments are a promise that life is worth fighting for, and that promise is what pulls me through when depression distorts reality and tries to convince me otherwise.”

Last month, as Victor drove me home so I could rest, I told him that sometimes I felt like his life would be easier without me. He paused a moment in thought and then said, “It might be easier. But it wouldn’t be better.”

I can tell you that “Just cheer up” is almost universally looked at as the most unhelpful depression cure ever. It’s pretty much the equivalent of telling someone who just had their legs amputated to “just walk it off.” Some people don’t understand that for a lot of us, mental illness is a severe chemical imbalance rather just having “a case of the Mondays.” Those same well-meaning people will tell me that I’m keeping myself from recovering because I really “just need to cheer up and smile.” That’s when I consider chopping off their arms and then blaming them for not picking up their severed arms so they can take them to the hospital to get reattached.”

most of my favorite people are dangerously fucked up but you’d never guess it because we’ve either become adept at hiding it or we’ve learned to bare it so honestly that it becomes the new normal. There’s a quote from The Breakfast Club that goes “We’re all pretty bizarre. Some of us are just better at hiding it.” I have it on a poster but I took a Sharpie to it and scratched out the word “hiding” because it reminds me that there’s a certain pride and freedom that comes from wearing your unique bizarreness like a badge of honor.”

More Happy Than Not

More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

August 14-22

In the months after his father’s suicide, it’s been tough for 16-year-old Aaron Soto to find happiness again–but he’s still gunning for it. With the support of his girlfriend Genevieve and his overworked mom, he’s slowly remembering what that might feel like. But grief and the smile-shaped scar on his wrist prevent him from forgetting completely. When Genevieve leaves for a couple of weeks, Aaron spends all his time hanging out with this new guy, Thomas. Aaron’s crew notices, and they’re not exactly thrilled. But Aaron can’t deny the happiness Thomas brings or how Thomas makes him feel safe from himself, despite the tensions their friendship is stirring with his girlfriend and friends. Since Aaron can’t stay away from Thomas or turn off his newfound feelings for him, he considers turning to the Leteo Institute’s revolutionary memory-alteration procedure to straighten himself out, even if it means forgetting who he truly is. Why does happiness have to be so hard?

Review : I loved this book it’s beautifully written . This is about Aaron who has been through a lot his father committed suicide . There is this new surgery going around called Leteo where they make you forget painful memories . When him and his friends are playing man hunt Aaron meets Thomas they get close fast . Aaron has a girlfriend he loves and they end up having sex she goes away on a trip to do some art . So he spends a lot of time with Thomas doesn’t spend as much time with his other “Friends ” I wouldn’t consider those people friends . Aaron admits to Thomas that he’s gay and then he starts to fall for Thomas but he tells Aaron that he straight which causes a rift between them him and his girlfriend break up and he wants to get the Leteo surgury and his mom lets him but he gets beat up by his ” friends ” and almost dies and then he remembers he already had the Leteo surgery to make himself straight again he was fooling around with this guy name colin but then collin gets his girlfriend pregnant and Aaron gets the surgery now he wants to get it again and now he’s having trouble making new memories .This book made me laugh and cry at the same time he lets go of Thomas he wants him to be happy hes says goodbye and he’s read to be more happy than not . I will read anything Adam silvera writes I loved this book so much cause it talked about being gay being depressed all things people can relate to .

Quotes : I look down at my crotch and say , You better do what you were made to do . So help me god , I will ruin you if you don’t . I will absolutely massacre you. Okay , Aaron, stop talking to your dick. And yourself.Genevieve opens the door in a sleeveless yellow shirt and bedroom eyes . Good conversation with your dick?

We all make mistakes . Every wrong I take is a mistake , but it’s a step in the right direction . If nothing else , it’s a step away from the wrong one .

Memories : Some can be sucker punching , other carry you forward ; some stay with you forever, other you forget on your own. You can’t really know which ones you’ll survive if you don’t stay on the battle field , bad times shooting at you like bullets . But if you’re lucky , you’ll have plenty of good times to shield you.
The boy with no direction taught me something unforgettable : Happiness comes again if you let it

Book review : Silent voice vol 2

July 22-july 23SPEAKING WITH ACTIONSIt’s been five years since Shoya Ishida bullied Shoko Nishimiya so badly she left their elementary school, because of one simple difference between them: Shoya can hear, and Shoko can’t. In the intervening time, Shoya’s life has changed completely. Shunned by his friends, Shoya’s longed for the chance to make up for his cruelty. When it finally comes, will he find the voice to tell Shoko he’s changed? And will Shoko listen?Review : I’m loving this series Shoya apologizes and him and Shoka sort of become friends . Shoya makes a friend and there is this “boy” who doesn’t want Shoya to be around Shoka but it turns out to be Shoka sister there was this fake artical that came out and Shoka sister was the one that did it . Shoka sister runs away from home and Shoka is out looking for her and no one can find her so they go and look for her I really enjoyed this one this series is really good .

Book Review : A silent voice SPOILERS

July 22-22

LEARNING TO LISTENShoya is a bully. When Shoko, a girl who can’t hear, enters his elementary school class, she becomes their favorite target, and Shoya and his friends goad each other into devising new tortures for her. But the children’s cruelty goes too far. Shoko is forced to leave the school, and Shoya ends up shouldering all the blame. Six years later, the two meet again. Can Shoya make up for his past mistakes, or is it too late?

Review : Shoya is a bully and a jerk and when a deaf girl starts school he starts picking on her and writing mean things about her he doesn’t understand why she doesn’t fight back and all she does is smile . I wasn’t sure if I’d like this because I don’t like bulling stories especially involving a disability but Shoya learned his lesson he looses his “friends” but he wants to make up for what he did in the past and 5 years later Shoko is back in his life .

Ollie and Moritz are best friends, but they can never meet. Ollie is allergic to electricity. Contact with it causes debilitating seizures. Moritz’s weak heart is kept pumping by an electronic pacemaker. If they ever did meet, Ollie would seize. But Moritz would die without his pacemaker. Both hermits from society, the boys develop a fierce bond through letters that become a lifeline during dark times—as Ollie loses his only friend, Liz, to the normalcy of high school and Moritz deals with a bully set on destroying him.

A story of impossible friendship and hope under strange circumstances, this debut is powerful, dark and humorous in equal measure. These extraordinary voices bring readers into the hearts and minds of two special boys who, like many teens, are just waiting for their moment to shine

Review : Ollie and Moritz are best friends they start writing letters back and forth to each other about there lives and it’s like a therapy for them . Moritz was born with no eyes and has a pacemaker and Ollie is allergic to electricity so he lives in the middle of no where with his mom his dad died before he was born. Moritz is being bulied by some guy and ends up getting suspended and Ollie tells him he should talk to owen the guy who handed him his goggles . Ollie is in love with a girl name Liz but she becomes distant after the accident with her uncle . Ollie’s doctor use to work in the lap that Moritz was tested on from his mom and then his mom disappeared and then he was adopted by the man who raises him now . Moriz meets owen with the help of his crazy sister we learn that owen was born with no tongue. What I loved so much about this book was the talk of not being defined by your disabilities its a very beautiful funny and sad book and I loved it . Owen , feeka and Moritz talk about finally beating Lenz up and they do and it goes wrong and Ollie doesn’t hear from him and he’s worried when Ollie receives a letter from Moritz father telling ollie that something is wrong with Moritz and he sends Ollie the letters Moritz hasn’t sent to Ollie and Moritz is in love with Ollie . Ollies mother is sick from the testing that happened before Ollie was born Ollie goes to a dance in this suit that Moritz sent Ollie and he goes to Liz and his mom passed away and stashe and Ollie decide to take a road trip and Moritz and Ollie are going to meet I can’t wait for the second book Loved this book so much .

SINISTER SHINKIThough a powerful warrior goddess, Bishamonten suffers from taking on so many shinki. Among Bishamon’s many shinki, a terrible plan is formed by one of her most trusted aides. This shinki has dangerous ideas and gets involved with the mysterious Stray. Kazuma has a sense that something is wrong, but can he figure out what exactly is going on? Meanwhile, Hiyori desperately wants Yato to fix her, but he is presented with a solution that is hard to accept. Will Yato fix Hiyori, even if it means he’d have to cut all ties with her?Review – I loved this one Yato is trying to cut ties with Hiyori because of the accident and she keeps falling out of her body but it’s not working out very well cause yukine is getting attached to Hiyori and is afraid one day that she will forget him . Bishama is collecting shinki she does care to save people . One of her Shinki blighted her cause she was being mean and wants Bishama to like her . There is a new character a medicine man who wants to get rid of Bishama . Yukine meets another shinki and they sort of become friends but then something bad happens to him there was a lot of character development in this one and I loved how Yato was stalking Hiyori on twitter .
