Book Review: Hold on tight Abbi Glines

Hold on Tight (Sea Breeze, #8)Hold on Tight by Abbi Glines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

June 28-30

Six years ago, Dewayne Falco’s life changed. He lost someone he never expected to lose. Resigned to punish himself for something he felt he could have prevented, he goes through life without getting too close to anyone.

What he didn’t expect was for the girl across the street to move back home and remind him of what they both lost: Dewayne’s younger brother Dustin. However, when a miniature version of Dustin opens the door to greet him, Dewayne realizes he might not have lost everything after all.

Sienna Roy loved Dustin Falco most of her life. He was the boy next door, the high school basketball star and her best friend. But when his life was cut short, she realized he left a part of himself behind.

Now, she’s back in Sea Breeze, thankful to have a home for her and Dustin’s son, but not sure if she can ever forgive the people across the street who abandoned her when she needed them the most — The Falcos.

Betrayal, lies, and forbidden attraction might end Dewayne and Sienna’s story before it’s even begun.

Review – Now these books keep getting better I was really excited to get into Dewayne’s story this involves Sienna who got pregnant with his younger brother’s baby and he’s also dead and her parents shipped her off I didn’t like her parents for that reason alone but now Sienna is back and she isn’t excited to see Dewayne one she sent letters a long time ago with pictures from her son’s life Micah is adorable he’s very protective of his mother and he’s only five when Dewayne see’s sienna again he’s shocked and startled and she isn’t very happy to see him cause she thought he knew but when she blurts it out he is more shocked and doesn’t know what to say but he wants to get to know Micah he introduces him to his parents / grandparents but only the dad knows so far cause Dewayne told him I loved the flashbacks from high school one thing Dustin was a dick totally different from Dewayne . Dustin got very drunk one night after having sex with a girl he had pregnant and Dewayne was knocking some sense into him and he drove drunk and that’s what got him killed . Sienna has liked Dewayne since she was fourteen and he helped her in high school Dewayne liked Sienna also but she thinks he can’t be the guy for him but when they kiss it kind of changes things and then they have phone sex wow *fans self * I was so happy that the grandparents got to be apart of Micah’s life they didn’t get those letters the stupid mother took them ugh I hate her when Dewayne and Sienna finally get together I was so happy and eek they get engaged aww I loved this story .

Quotes-
You’re one of the best men I know. You wear your tats and piercings and those damn leather bracelets that only you could get away with. But inside you are one big teddy bear. When someone you love needs you, there is nothing you won’t do for them. When I needed you, you were always there. I’ve never questioned your heart. It’s made of fucking gold, and we all know it. We laugh at your crude jokes and snide comments because we know they mean nothing. It’s part of your shield. Underneath, I don’t know many men that compare. You’re one of the best, Dewayne. One of the best.”

I couldn’t have written a more perfect ending to the story of my life . Because even with all those bad time and moments when I thought things couldn’t get worse , the good time and the moments of joy and the love was all so much more . they made it worth it . The journey may not be easy , but when you find the one to take it with , then you can do anything .

Book Review: Bad for you abbi Glines

Bad for You (Sea Breeze, #7)Bad for You by Abbi Glines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

June 27 -28

Innocence isn’t meant for the addictive…The next sultry affair in the New York Times bestselling Sea Breeze Collection by Abbi Glines is unstoppably steamy.

Addiction is part of Krit Corbin’s nature—and women have always been his favorite obsession. But that’s the life of a lead singer in a band. He can have any woman he wants—anywhere, anytime. Well, except for one.

Blythe Denton is used to being alone. The minister’s family who raised her never accepted her as their own, and the cruel minister’s wife made sure Blythe understood just how unworthy she was of love. So when she finally gets the chance to live by herself, Blythe takes it and moves into an apartment building with a loud upstairs neighbor who keeps throwing parties all night long.

It’s during one such party when Krit opens the door to find his new neighbor standing there. Blythe wants him to turn down the music, but he convinces her to stay. She’s nothing like the women who parade in and out of his apartment, but Krit can’t resist her—her brown hair, cute glasses, and sexy innocence is too much for him to ignore.

Determined to win Blythe over, Krit Corbin may have just found his biggest addiction yet.

Review – I loved this one so much Krit oh my god swoon I have my thing for bad boy characters and he’s on the list * fans self * I felt like I had allot of Blythe’s Characteristis . She’s very shy and not a big fan of crouds and she writes When she meets Krit they live in the same building and she’s staring at him I was laughing my butt off . Krit has allot of problems of his own he’s also obsessed with sex but wen he meets Blyth he’s obsessed with her they hang out they eat together . Blythe works at the church where she meets Link who I now hate after finding out what he did but they go on two dates and Krit after awhile keeps a distance to her which was stupid because he has feeling for her but won’t go there cause she is innocent but when she get’s invitied to Daisy’s party but she didn’t tell Krit he’s very suprised and he brought a guest Brit ugh I didn’t like this girl and everyone is gaining up on Krit and Blythe sticks up for him oh she’s really deep in this and she starts crying and leaves and Krit comforts her and then they kiss eeek oh my and he loves her but doesn’t tell her yet she goes to his shows and it’s so cute and they start doing sexy stuff and wow oh my I love the tattos and pearcings 😉 when Brit tells Krit she’s pregnant I was screaming like wtf and he tells Blythe and she’s freaking out and then she finds out the Paster who she lived with had a heart attack and she goes with Link and Krit destroys his apparment and she doesn’t connect with him for two weeks and then we find out that the preacher is HER REAL FATHER WTF I hate the dude . We also find out that Krit isn’t the father of that baby cause she’s four months what a bitch and Link he has a finace what a dick I loved this story and Krit and Blythe together so cute together and I loved the song Krit wrote for Blythe .

Quotes – Are you done checking me out ? Because i’d hate to interrupt you

Most woman beg me to lick him , and I give it to you for free and you push me away , he said with a fake pout on his face . Your crazy. I giggled . I’m the good kind of crazy , though .

I’ve broken heart and left them in a trail behind me . But they only had me one night .
She owned my heart for years , then took it with her in her flight .

We are working! She was fine. You could see her. What the fuck is wrong with you? This is our job, asshole. You can’t go doing shit like that when we have a packed house!”

Krit shoved him again. “Don’t tell me what the fuck to do.”

I had to stop them. This was about me. I wasn’t sure why Krit had come offstage, but I knew it was about me. I had to fix this. I didn’t want Krit fighting his best friend.

“Stop fucking shoving me, you pansy-ass motherfucker!” Green roared, and lunged for Krit.

I moved fast, putting up two hands and jumping in front of Krit to stop him. The force of impact when Green didn’t stop hit me directly in the chest. It was as if someone had put a vacuum in my lungs and sucked all of the oxygen from the room. Nothing was getting in, and panic gripped me when I realized I couldn’t breathe.

“Fuck!” Krit yelled, and his arms were around me. He was doing something to my chest as he begged me to breathe. I was trying to breathe. It wouldn’t work.

“Baby, please breathe,” he was pleading, and I wanted nothing more than to do that, but I couldn’t. It hurt, and the terror that I was about to die settled over me.

“She got the air knocked out of her. She’s gonna be okay,” Matty said in a calmer voice.

And then the vacuum left, and the air I had been fighting for filled my chest as I gasped loudly and bent over. Krit was holding me against him as me muttered sweet things over and over while he rocked me back and forth.

“Take him out of here,” Matty said.

I couldn’t look up to see who he was talking to, but I grabbed Krit’s arms to hold onto him in case they were talking about him.

“Not me, baby. I’m not leaving you,” he said as his hand began running down my hair as if he were petting me. “Not going anywhere.”

“When Krit is sure she’s okay, he is going to beat the motherfucking hell out of you. Go with Legend and let him calm down first.”

June 22-27

Remember rock-star Jax Stone’s brother Jason from Breathe? Well now he’s got his own story to tell…
Jason’s had enough of living in his rock star brother’s shadow. So when he sets off to Sea Breeze, Alabama, he’s looking for a much deserved escape and a chance to blow of some envious steam. But falling for the local bad girl was definitely not the plan. And as the two enjoy some naughty fun in the Alabama sun, Jason learns that though Jax is the musician in the family, he too can just as easily rock someone’s world.

*****

Review – Now Jess wasn’t a character I didn’t think I would like but I did like her once I was in her head and Jason I love him he was stupid at times but I still loved him . So Jess and Jason meet in a very interesting way Jess was just done bashing her ex’s car and she was running with a bat and she sees a car and that’s how Jason and Jess meet and ever since then he couldn’t stop thinking about her he also didn’t know Jess was Rock’s cousin until they all met up at Live Bay . Jess takes Jason swimming ileagly of course and then Jason takes Jess to go skinny dipping and then they hook up very nice . Jason and Jess are from two different worlds Jason is rich and Jess her mom is a stripper . But they end up breaking up after a trip to NYC and then they get back together after awhile Jess gets a job as a seamstress she likes sewing . Jason ends up seeing her at live Bay with Krit the lead singer of Jackdown and they are together I knew they wouldn’t last they just liked hooking up with each other and Krit was obsessed with sex . But after awhile Jess realizes she can’t be with Krit and then she goes back to Jason and she is happy again she finds out her mom is sick and she has to get a job as a stripper and oh god I felt so bad for her Jason and her break up and Krit and Jason end up in a fist fight and then Jason saves her and helps out they love each other when they finally say it I was crying so hard . I loved this one and I love all the gilmore girls comparisons from Jess’s mom oh and I hated Jason’s mom what a bitch she tried to pay Jess to stay away from her son I would punch her in the face still a great story .

Quotes-

Either you two go to your room , or i’m going to throw ice water on you both , I told them.

“If guys don’t open doors for you, then they aren’t worth your time.

Krit’s gonna go apeshit,
Dewayne said in a singsong voice
Shut him up , I whispered to Rock.

Wanna dance ? I asked
No , Rock answered for him .
Hell yes , Dewayne replied
Stand up and I’ll make you sit down ,
Rock warned him.
Dewayne just laughed and took a drink.
What are you doing , Jess ? Rock asked
Drinking , then dancing , I replied with a smile I didn’t feel.
It’s not like you , he replied .
No. It’s exactly like me . This is me , Rock. I’m done pretending to be someone else . Now , Why can’t Dewayne dance with me ? I asked , turning to pout at Dewayne who looked amused. Stop flirting with Dewayne , Rock said , annoyed.
I’m enjoying it . Please , let her continue , Dewayne said.

He could teach a Seduction 101 class . Or on the fastest way to get a woman naked .
Hmm , maybe , but it’s cute , I teased .
Cute , huh ? Do I need to remind you of my sexiness ?
This time I laughed . Definitely not . I’m very aware .
Thought so . I’m hard to forget , he replied .

You’re going to kill me or drive me insane . I can’t seem to care . I’m looking forward to it , he said .

“I smashed all the windows in my ex-boyfriend’s truck.” “You did what?” I couldn’t have heard her correctly. That did not happen in real life. Country songs, yes. Real life, no way.

I had never expected to fall in love , but then , I never imagined anyone like Jess . She was one beautiful contradiction . The idea of letting someone else own my heart wasn’t appealing . It sounded weak and foolish . Something meant for the words of a song . I was wrong . When I thought about my future now , Jess was all that I could see , and that was all I needed . I couldn’t ask for more .

Book review:sometimes it lasts abbi glines

Sometimes It Lasts (Sea Breeze)Sometimes It Lasts by Abbi Glines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

June 21-23

Cage York has to choose between a love of the game and a love of the girl in this sultry Sea Breeze novel from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines.
After waiting for his big break, bad boy Cage York is finally called up to prove his worth in the college baseball arena. But when Cage’s girlfriend, Eva, mourns the sudden loss of her father, it’s not Cage’s comforting arms she runs to, but those of her former fiancé’s twin brother, Jeremy.

Torn between his baseball dream and the girl of his dreams, Cage must prove he’s worthy of Eva’s love, or risk losing her to Jeremy forever.

Review- This book frustrated me more than any of the ones in the series I still loved it but it made my head hurt at times or I was yelling at the book . So we are back with Eva and Cage and as happy as I was about that WHY THE HELL DID THEY HAVE TO BREAK UP ? I mean really and the stupid baseball guys were douchbags who sets someone up for that it was stupid cause they were so happy . Cage got a scholarship they were all set to go then the father gets cancer she has to go home and take care of him and she knows Cage has to go to school. But then she gets a text that wasn’t from him and I knew that roommate was going to be a problem Cage threatened him Cage visits Eva and it’s all good and then someone sends Eva something bad and I was swear I did not see that coming when she got these pics and video of Cage doing things sexual but it was all a set up damn assholes. And then Eva finds out she’s pregnant gets engaged to Jeremy the father dies she’s having a girl (Bliss) when Cage and Eva broke it I cried big fat tears this book was amazing when Cage found out about the baby he left school he wanted to prove to Eva that he was all in the whole engagement to Jeremy didn’t make sense I mean he had a thing for her since he was five but they never kissed during this engagement they were meant to be friends that’s it . when the baby kicks for Cage so cute I loved it so they end the engagement and Cage is doing nice things for Eva and they flirt and do things for each other and when they got back together and then he proposes eeek so cute . I was so happy and Low and Marcus are having a baby boy Eli so cute and then cage and Eva get married it was such a good continue of Cage and Eva .

Quotes –
Maybe he hadn’t seen me studying his ass like I wanted a bite . Because we both knew I was a fan of his backside

I’d hug you , But i gotta go work with your man today , and he’s watching me right now like he might need to come up here and beat my ass at any second .

Listen , bitch the only white trash in this room is the one who slept with a married man . An old married man at that . You call my man one more name and I will knock those ridiculously high heels out from under you. So back the hell off before you end up on you ass .

You need to run. Your ass may be bigger than me, but I can use a gun real damn good. So you’ve been warned. I’m coming after your motherfucking ass and I intend to put a bullet between your eyes.”

“Because I love you more than any goddamn thing on this fucking planet, I’m gonna let you have one more day. You just lost your daddy, and I’ll never forgive my- self for not being here with you. I’ll live my life regretting it. But I’ll be back. You’re mine, Eva Brooks. Always. You told me that yourself and, sweetheart, I’m holding you to it.

I worship the ground Eva walks on. I love her smile. I love the way she gets in a snit and her lips get all pinched up. I love the way she thinks she has to cook for me. I love the fact that she lets me butter her biscuit. I love the way she curls into me at night and lets me hold her. I also love how perfect it is when I’m making love to her. How I feel complete.”

Jeremy brought you halfway, but the rest is mine. I’ve had you the rest of the way.” He said as Jeremy handed me over and pressed a kiss to my cheek.
I looked up at Cage as he tucked my arm into his and bestowed me with one of his soul-stealing grins. “It’s time we start our always, Eva.”
I turned to face him. I stood on my tiptoes and pressed a kiss to his lips. Then I whispered, “We already have. We’ve been working on our always since you walked into my world with a cocky swagger and a smile.”

Just for Now (Sea Breeze, #4)Just for Now by Abbi Glines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

June 20-21

An insatiable attraction heats to the boiling point in this steamy book set in the shore town of Sea Breeze from the author of the white-hot The Vincent Boys.

Preston is one bad boy. And Amanda has harbored a crush on him for forever. When she finally makes her move on him, it does not end well. But still, she can’t resist him. Especially now that he seems to be pursuing her, too.

No one wants wants them to be together. Not Amanda’s brother Marcus, who is on the verge of his marriage to Low, and definitely not any of Preston’s buddies. They know way too much about Preston’s dark side. Even Preston realizes he’s not good enough for someone like her.

But Amanda believes there is more to Preston than his bad boy persona, and she is determined to unearth what he’s hiding behind his seductive blue eyes—secrets that could explain his actions. Secrets Amanda might not be able to forgive.

Yet the dangerous attraction persists…and neither Preston nor Amanda is going to deny it

Review – Okay this is the one that had me on the edge of my seat the most okay So Amanda and Preston Hook up HOLY SHIT okay so Preston was drunk and they hooked up in the back of the club oh my god I was freaking out . And oh god I was so worried so when they have sex again this time it was way differnt and when Marcus found out I was so sure he was going to kill him all he did was punch him allot Amanda of course has been off limits best friends sister yeah probably shouldn’t go there but he did and all of his friends are like body guards for Amanda . Quotes-
He ain’t planning on talking to you. He’s planning on whooping your ass and then locking his sister up in her bedroom for the rest of her life . I just hope he ain’t got a gun on him.

Book review : while it lasts abbi glines

While it Lasts (Sea Breeze)While it Lasts by Abbi Glines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

June 18-20

Cage brings his playboy prowess to the countryside as the Sea Breeze hookups continue, from self-published phenomenon Abbi Glines.
Low broke Cage’s heart by getting with Marcus in Because of Low. Cage went into a tailspin that ended in a DUI. In order to salvage his baseball scholarship—the one thing he truly valued besides Low—Cage must take a summer job. At a farm. Away from Sea Breeze. With lots of cows, but no hot girls. Maybe that’s what Cage needs to get back on track.

But wait—there’s that hostile daughter of the farm boss. She’s pretty and occasionally sweet, and there seems to be a lot of sadness and mystery behind her anger. Cage is dying to strip her down—physically and mentally—in the back of the barn. But is he prepared for what will happen afterward?

Review- I loved this one I have a thing for bad boys yes Cage york is a big bad boy when he get’s a DUI and is sent with the country and meets Eva who hates him . Eva has been through allot her fiance / best friend was killed in the war and oh my god that letter he sent her made me sob so hard. Her and Cage have a love hate relationship they end up doing allot more than flirting in the lake oh my shit who knew a nipple ring was a thing I would find attractive 😉 when Eva gets freaking drunk one night she sleeps in Cage’s bed . Eva knows she has to go on with her life she took off her ring Jeremy her fiance twin is moving away she starts using her jeep she starts playing her guitar and everyone keeps telling her that Cage isn’t the type she should be with she ends up sleeping with him and her father threatens him and he has to leave everyone is wondering why Cage is so upset Low tells him to fight for her he goes back to her house Eva thought he just left but he says he loves her but she just stood there OH MY GOD EVA and then when Cage is about to leave the bar there is Eva singing him a song and I loved this book so much Eva and Cage are so cute . And in the End when she wrote that letter to Josh I was balling my eyes such a good ending .

Quotes-
Only problem with talking about licking with you is that it gives me ideas . I start thinking about things I shouldn’t be thinking about . Things that will only torment me ’cause I’ll never know just how sweet you taste . I ma be a lot of things , Eva may even be a few of them names you called me , but i’m not going touch what belongs to another man.

If you really want to talk about licking , I’ll happily oblige

Really ? well , thank you. I was under the impression you wouldn’t spit on me if I was on fire .

An Engaged lady shouldn’t be looking at another man like she wants to take a lick

“You see somethin’ ya want, baby?”
“Maybe. I’m checking things out. Seeing if I’m interested,” I shot back with my own evil grin.
“I see something I want,” he drawled as he came toward me.
“You do?”
“Hell yeah, I do,” he murmured. “I love chocolate.” What? My excitement turned to confusion. His arm reached out beside me and took the piece of chocolate cake I’d brought him.”

“You are such a bad boy.” She tugged on the hair that brushed my collar.
“I can be real bad. You haven’t seen anything yet,” I murmured, bending my head so I could take a nip at the soft skin at the back of her neck.
“I’m not sure I could keep up with you. I’m extremely inexperienced. We are in completely different planets when it comes to sexual experience,” her breathing was labored as I licked and kissed different sweet spots on her shoulders and collarbone.
“I didn’t say anything about sex, Eva,” I grinned before kissing her jawline. “You’re the naughty one who brought up sex.”

I understood that pain was real and sometimes things didn’t last. Sometimes you just had to enjoy it while it lasts and cherish it when it’s gone.”

Book Review: Because of Low abbi glines

Because of Low (Sea Breeze, #2)Because of Low by Abbi Glines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

June 17-19
It’s steamy in the Gulf town of Sea Breeze. Physical attraction is the only way to beat the heat in this start to a series from bestselling, previously self-published author Abbi Glines.

Playboy Cage owns the apartment, and he hosts a revolving door of people, in and out, at all times. Most of them are long-legged hot girls who are never there more than a night or two. When Cage’s new roommate, Marcus, enters the picture, he’s just looking to nurse a broken heart. But there’s one particular semi-frequent regular who catches his eye.

Willow—“Low”—is the one Cage wants to marry. But the two of them are night and day, and Marcus can’t see how Low puts up with all of Cage’s womanizing. What she really needs is a real man….like good-looking and sensible Marcus. But that’s going to get real complicated and real messy—real fast.

Book review- This one is my favorite so far I loved hearing more about Marcus Hardy *Swoon* Marcus has come home because of family problems his dad cheated on his mom with a younger woman he works with . He’s living with a guy who sleeps with allot of woman Cage is an interesting Character Then we meet Low cage’s best friend who he tells people he’s going to marry her she comes to the apartment crying and she always sleeps in cage’s bed but she’s not attracted to him . Marcus likes low and one day when Low is watching Larrissa who is adorable Marcus kisses her awww and then they go out on a date and this girl jess is always causing problems but Low does tell her off finally . Marcus brings Low to meet his mom and his dad didn’t show of course cause he’s a dick and Low was very good with them all I hated Low’s sister she was a bitch and the baby daddy was twice her age . There was this scene where Low and marcus were getting very hot and heavy very nice *fan self* and he was doing something in the shower and low saw oh my freaking god . I really thought Cage was going to kill marcus when he found out but he didn’t I love Marcus and Low together they are good for each other but holy shit I did not see this coming Low’s sister is with Marcus’s dad which Makes Larrisa Amanda and Marcus’s sister ,holy shit and she goes to the house and comforts them and Marcus comes over and he thought she knew the entire time and broke up . Oh god so bad Low gets really sad but Marcus father tells him she didn’t know and Marcus goes to low and she forgives him but she can’t put her heart through that again I can see where she’s coming from . But Cage tells low to give him another chance and Marcus leaves Low a vintage concert t-shirt awww so sweet and then they get back together and make love and I loved this book so much .

Quotes-

I love you.” My heart almost stopped beating in my chest.
She hadn’t spoken those words since the last time I held her in my arms.
“And you did leave me. But… but you came back. No one’s ever come back. They leave me and that’s it. They want to leave me. You didn’t. And you came back.” I wanted to stand up and reach across the table and jerk her into my arms but I wasn’t sure I could stand up just yet. I needed to hear everything she had to say.
“Yes, I came back. My heart never left you.”
“I miss you.”
This time I stood up and walked around the table.
“I miss you. Every second of every day,” I whispered. Her eyes followed me until I was inches from her.
“I trust you.”
I needed more than that.
“You trust me,” I repeated.
She nodded and her hand came up and caressed the side of my arm.
“I want to try again.”
Those were the words I needed to hear.”

Marcus , Please . The hand froze . I opened my eyes and started directly up into Cage’s face . Did you just call me Marcus ?

Marcus Hardy was straight out of those gushy romance novels .

I’m not done here . I’m just beginning , Low . But I couldn’t walk away again without that kiss.

Book Review: Breathe abbi glines

Breathe (Sea Breeze #1)Breathe by Abbi Glines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

June 15-17
Sadie White’s summer job is at the beach, but she won’t be working as a lifeguard. Since her mom is pregnant and refuses to work, Sadie will be taking over as a domestic servant for a wealthy family on a nearby island.

When the family arrives at their summer getaway, Sadie is surprised to learn that the owner of the house is Jax Stone, one of the hottest teen rockers in the world. If Sadie were normal—if she hadn’t spent her life raising her mother and taking care of the house—maybe she’d be excited about working for a rock star. But she’s not.

Even though Sadie isn’t impressed by Jax’s fame, he is drawn to her. Everything about Sadie fascinates Jax, but he fights his attraction: Relationships never work in his world, and as badly as he wants Sadie, he believes she deserves more. Yet as the summer stretches on, Jax’s passion leaves him breathless—and Sadie feels like the only source of oxygen.

Can their love overcome the disparity in their lifestyles? One breath at a time, they’re going to find out.

Review – I loved this book this story was so cute this book is about Sadie and because her pregnant mother can’t work she takes a job to work in a famous teen stars home . Jax can’t wait to get away from the spotlight for a few months and then he meets sadie and he can’t stay away no matter how he tries . There were allot of characters I loved Marcus *swoon alert* those Alabama boys 😉 and right when Marcus is about to ask Saddie out Jax comes out and offers her a ride and she goes with him she knows it won’t last but it doesn’t stop her heart and how she feels about Jax . Saddie meets a new friend Amanda who turns out to be Marcus’s younger sister . when Jax takes Sadie out to there own private movie things get allot hot and heavy wow 😉 when Marcus tells her about Jax’s “girlfriend” she gets upset and then Marcus kisses her HOLY CRAP ! I thought Sadie and Marcus would be good together if jax didn’t exist but you can’t help who you fall for other characters I loved were Marcus’s friend Preston who was obviously hitting on Sadie allot and Marcus would usually punch him LOL . And Mrs . Marry who was mostly a mother figure to Sadie . When Sadie and Jax go to a party and then go back to his room and it gets hot and heavy again wow *blushes * oh and when they shower together wow that was wow and when they finally have sex it was so beautiful but sexy . When people find out about Sadie and Jax they break up and Sadie goes into a depression her mom has the baby Sam and her mom oh my god she wouldn’t even hold him Sadie ends up falling on her bike and cracking her head cause she was over exerting herself Jax sings her out of her coma mostly and he shows up at homecoming I loved it so cute .

Quotes-

“You’re with me, Sadie. When you’re off the clock, you’re not my employee. You’re my.. Air.”
I frowned at him. “Your air?”
He grinned. “Well, girlfriend seems to be a shallow word for what I feel for you..”

“If hearts could shatter, mine just did.”

I was going to cheat and pull down the fender stratocaster original over there and play you one of my number ones . See if I could get you to become putty in my hands, or at least throw your panties at me .

You’re everything I write about in my songs but can never have .

Any girl in a ten-mile radius is going to stare you down if you wear if. It’s impossible not to. A huge grin broke across his face. So does this mean you like me in this shirt ? I sighed and sat up a little straighter . I’m mature for my age , Jax not blind .

Book Review: ugly love colleen hoover

Ugly LoveUgly Love by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

May 6- 11

Summary When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn’t think it’s love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

Review- When Tate colins moves in with her pilot brother she meets a very unexpected person while trying to get into her apartment a drunk guy is laying on the door she tries to get past him but can’t she calls her brother corbin and he calls his friend Miles to help turns out Miles is the drunk guy she drags him in and brings him to the couch and he starts crying in his sleep about Rachel I was so heartbroken for him . The next morning he is staring at her and Tate isn’t a morning person so she shuts the door in his face which I thought was funny as Miles corbin and Tate are bringing up all her stuff from her car Tate and Miles re- introduce themselves so sweet. What I really loved about this book I just felt for these characters when we got to hear about Miles and what he was doing 6 years earlier .When he met Rachel when he fell for Rachel when he found out she was his dad’s girlfriends daughter he really loved this girl and I wanted to know what separated them I wanted to know why Miles hadn’t been with a girl in six years . But at thanksgiving he kisses Tate and then they decided to have a kind of neighbors with benefits cause they both work really hard Miles a pilot and Tate a Nurse but one of the funniest scenes in this book was when there at dinner and Tate’s mom is asking if he’s seeing anyone and she kind of thinks he is gay and Corbin thought it was this big secret and he is like I’m not gay I was laughing so hard cause he though Miles was gay for three years hahaha . So when Tate and Miles finally hook up wow so steamy . I didn’t actually like that he always kind of left her after I mean I get the whole no strings thing in the sense but Miles can’t even admit he likes her as a person and it made me so angry at times cause I’m like Tate this guy isn’t going to budge why are you with him. I mean after reading this I kind of get Miles a lot more he went though allot with Rachel when they found out they were pregnant they go to tell there parents but then we find out there already married oh god oh god . so I was like I can totally get if he has a kid and he’s hiding that from her but he won’t even tell her simple things from his past like nothing other Characters I loved were Miles’s best friend Ian and Cap the old man who worked in the building two different characters but totally worked so well in this story . So they keep hooking up and all that and she is I think try to get him to want something more but he doesn’t he can’t he says. So Rachel has the baby and it’s so cute and they are on there way home and they crash into a lake and oh god I was freaking out cause that must be how he got his scar holy crap he saves Rachel but he can’t get the baby he dies and I’m crying at this point and Rachel blames him and she leaves him . Oh hell I mean he’s been though a holy hell of a lot he lost his mother his son god What .And Tate really likes Miles and she knows he does to and she one time just snaps and he breaks down and wow I felt for him I mean Miles made me mad at times I wanted to shake him like go to her Miles she loves you and when she is moving out Ian is there and she tells him goodbye and cries going away and Corbin punches Miles which he really deserved and Ian is like if someone could take away the bad memories but it takes away the good would you do it and Miles is like maybe and Ian says that Tate has made a big impact and I really agree . He goes to see Rachel and she is happy she has a daughter and a husband she never thought she would be happy again but she learned to and Makes Miles see her daughter and he says you gave him a sister I cried then he goes to Tate and tells her he misses her and he will tell her about his past . I was so happy for them he takes tate and Cap in the plane to see the sunrise and then he askes her to move
in and marry him oh my god and then they hook up in the plane . They have a daughter and they name her after Cap which was so sweet I loved this book so much and I can’t wait to see how they do the movie .
Favorite Quotes-
“Love isn’t always pretty. Sometimes you spend all your time hoping it’ll eventually be something different. Something better. Then, before you know it, you’re back to square one, and you lost your heart somewhere along the way.”

What’s your deal then ? I ask him . You have STD it’s the nurse in me . I have no medical filter . He laughs . Pretty damn clean , he says . He still doesn’t explain himself , though . It’s been six years since you kissed a girl, then why did you kiss me ?

If your Hand gets infected and you die , I’m denying any part in this . If my hand gets infected and I die , I’d be to dead to be you . Good point , I say
page 71

I don’t know if I can do this , Miles . I don’t know if I can fallow rule number two , Because I suddenly want to climb into your future more than I want to climb into the backseat with you.
Page 98

When life gives you lemons, make sure you know whose eyes you need to squeeze them in

Sometimes not speaking says more than all the words in the world.

“Ugly love becomes you. Consumes you. Makes you hate it all. Makes you realize that all the beautiful parts aren’t even worth it. Without the beautiful, you’ll never risk feeling the ugly. So you give it all up. You give it all up. You never want love again, no matter what kind it is, because no type of love will ever be worth living through the ugly love again.

Tate lays her head on my arm, and we both watch her.

Our daughter.

I love you so much, Sam.

I’m looking down at the perfection we created when it hits me.

It’s all worth it.

It’s the beautiful moments like these that make up for the uglylove.”

Book Review: this girl Colleen Hoover

This Girl (Slammed, #3)This Girl by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This Girl by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

February 25- May 5
There are two sides to every love story. Now hear Will’s.

Colleen Hoover’s New York Times bestselling Slammed series has brought countless readers to their knees with a whirlwind of love, passion, and heartache.

Layken and Will’s love has managed to withstand the toughest of circumstances and the young lovers, now married, are beginning to feel safe and secure in their union. As much as Layken relishes their new life together, she finds herself wanting to know everything there is to know about her husband, even though Will makes it clear he prefers to keep the painful memories of the past where they belong. Still, he can’t resist his wife’s pleas and so he begins to untangle his side of the story, revealing for the first time his most intimate feelings and thoughts, retelling both the good and bad moments, and sharing a few shocking confessions of his own from the time when they first met.

In This Girl, Will tells the story of their complicated relationship from his point of view. Their future rests on how well they deal with the past in this final installment of the beloved Slammed series.

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS !

Review- I think this may be my second favorite of the series I loved this one so much hearing from Will’s POV from slammed .While their on there honeymoon was so cute there were some sad points though like when his ex girlfriend dumped him she was a bitch in point of retreat and she was in this girl . I loved seeing him see lake for the first time from his POV it was so sweet I loved him even more in this book especially the ending when they were in the car and listening to the Avett brothers who I now love and will is like it better not be Nicklback I was laughing . And when they went to the slam I loved the “Really long poem ” it was very good and when he kept the chocolate milk on the rocks it was so sweet .And we also find out that Gavin knew all along I think I love Gavin way more now cause he had to put up with Will though all of this . And the kiss awww so sweet and then it goes down hill down from there when he find out he’s her teacher. It was so bad and even hearing again was bad I read this one with audiobook and it made it even better I liked hearing from the honeymoon way better sometimes. Like when they agreed never to carve pumpkins with each other good .And the scene in the pool oh my god I really loved seeing what hell will was going though that it wasn’t easy for him and him finding out Julia has cancer I was crying more and when he preformed “This Girl ” one of my favorite poems he has done I mean other than the one about the Lake oh my god. When he confesses his feeling and she’s ‘kissing’ Javi and he wanted to kill him oh I wanted to also oh god and the moment of weakness come on will I know he wants to give her time when he was judging at the slam and she came up oh my freaking god he was like she loves me she loves me . I think the most awkward scene was the scene when Julia caught them together oh god but everything about this book was amazing. when they go home and celebrate with everyone and kirsten tells the boys about sex I’m laughing. And oh Eddie and Gavin are engaged so sweet the epilogue Lake is having her daughter and they name her Julia Kel gives will a letter from Julia it was so sweet it made me cry and Will does his final piece such a great series I loved everything about this series the characters the poems and the romance .

Quotes-
my final piece
We’re born into the world
As just one small piece to the puzzle
That makes up an entire life.
It’s up to us throughout our years,
to find all of our pieces that fit.
The pieces that connect who we are
To who we were
To who we’ll one day be.
Sometimes pieces will almost fit.
They’ll feel right.
We’ll carry them around for a while,
Hoping they’ll change shape.
Hoping they’ll conform to our puzzle.
But they won’t.
We’ll eventually have to let them go.
To find the puzzle that is their home.
Sometimes pieces won’t fit at all.
No matter how much we want them to.
We’ll shove them.
We’ll bend them.
We’ll break them.
But what isn’t meant to be,
won’t be.
Those are the hardest pieces of all to
accept.
The pieces of our puzzle
That just don’t belong.
But occasionally . . .
Not very often at all,
If we’re lucky,
If we pay enough attention,
We’ll find a
perfect match.
The pieces of the puzzle that slide right in
The pieces that hug the contours of our own
pieces.
The pieces that lock to us.
The pieces that we lock to.
The pieces that fit so well, we can’t tell
where our piece begins
And that piece ends.
Those pieces we call
Friends.
True loves.
Dreams.
Passions.
Beliefs.
Talents.
They’re all the pieces that complete our
puzzles.
They line the edges,
Frame the corners,
Fill the centers,
Those pieces are the pieces that make us
who we are.
Who we were.
Who we’ll one day be.
Up until today,
When I looked at my own puzzle,
I would see a finished piece.
I had the edges lined,
The corners framed,
The center filled.
It felt like it was complete.
All the pieces were there.
I had everything I wanted.
Everything I needed.
Everything I dreamt of.
But up until today,
I realized I had collected all
but one piece.
The most vital piece.
The piece that completes the picture.
The piece that completes my whole life.
I held this girl in my arms
She wrapped her tiny fingers around mine.
It was then that I realized
She was the fusion.
The glue.
The cement that bound all my pieces
together.
The piece that seals my puzzle.
The piece that completes my life.
The element that makes me who I am.
Who I was.
Who I’ll one day be.
You, baby girl.
You’re my final piece.”

“I wish I could explain how I feel, but nothing can explain this moment. Not a vase of stars. Not a book. Not a song. Not even a poem. Nothing can explain the moment when the woman you would give your life for sees her daughter for the very first time.”

“It’s not your bra. It’s our bra and I want it off.” I slip it off her, pulling her against me as I rub my hands down the length of her back, then around to the button on the front of her jeans. “And I want to take off our pants.”

She grins against my lips and slowly nods. “Okay, but hurry,” she whispers.

“I can be quick,” I assure her. “But I’ll never hurry.”

This poem is very long
So long, in fact, that your attention span
May be stretched to its very limits
But that’s okay
It’s what’s so special about poetry
See, poetry takes time
We live in a time
Call it our culture or society
It doesn’t matter to me cause neither one rhymes
A time where most people don’t want to listen
Our throats wait like matchsticks waiting to catch fire
Waiting until we can speak
No patience to listen

But this poem is long
It’s so long, in fact, that during the time of this poem
You could’ve done any number of other wonderful things
You could’ve called your father
Call your father
You could be writing a postcard right now
Write a postcard
When was the last time you wrote a postcard?
You could be outside
You’re probably not too far away from a sunrise or a sunset
Watch the sun rise
Maybe you could’ve written your own poem
A better poem
You could have played a tune or sung a song
You could have met your neighbor
And memorized their name
Memorize the name of your neighbor
You could’ve drawn a picture
(Or, at least, colored one in)
You could’ve started a book
Or finished a prayer
You could’ve talked to God
Pray
When was the last time you prayed?
Really prayed?

This is a long poem
So long, in fact, that you’ve already spent a minute with it
When was the last time you hugged a friend for a minute?
Or told them that you love them?
Tell your friends you love them

…no, I mean it, tell them

Say, I love you

Say, you make life worth living
Because that, is what friends do
Of all of the wonderful things that you could’ve done
During this very, very long poem
You could have connected
Maybe you are connecting
Maybe we’re connecting
See, I believe that the only things that really matter
In the grand scheme of life are God and people
And if people are made in the image of God
Then when you spend your time with people
It’s never wasted
And in this very long poem
I’m trying to let a poem do what a poem does:
Make things simpler
We don’t need poems to make things more complicated
We have each other for that
We need poems to remind ourselves of the things that really matter
To take time
A long time
To be alive for the sake of someone else for a single moment
Or for many moments

Cause we need each other

To hold the hands of a broken person
All you have to do is meet a person
Shake their hand
Look in their eyes

They are you

We are all broken together
But these shattered pieces of our existence don’t have to be a mess
We just have to care enough to hold our tongues sometimes
To sit and listen to a very long poem
A story of a life
The joy of a friend and the grief of friend
To hold and be held
And be quiet

So, pray
Write a postcard
Call your parents and forgive them and then thank them
Turn off the TV
Create art as best as you can
Share as much as possible, especially money
Tell someone about a very long poem you once heard
And how afterward it brought you to them”

Oh my God!” Julia yells. “Are you kidding me, Will? Don’t help her put her clothes back on! I’m standing right here!”

What the hell am I thinking?”

This girl. This baby girl is my life. Her mother is my life. These girls are both my life.

Home by Clementine Von Radics Home is a collection of snapshots. Part narrative poetry, part memoir, and wholly unusual, it is an honest, messy, beautiful, at times brutal account of navigating collective living, sex, love, fear, and self-discovery as a young artist.I found most of her poems on tumblr and found out she wrote a book and picked both of them up I read all of them and I connected so much to her words I loved them you have to pick her work up .- Christina

Review- The second and last book made me laugh and cry at the same time I loved seeing Andrew and Camryn engaged happy and Camryn pregnant . Everything was going so well they are having a girl they are living in Galveston but Camryn isn’t happy there so they are heading back to Camryns home and they are going to look for a place to live . They have a kind of baby shower and Camryn is having pains and I felt like something bad is going to happen I just knew it and it did she lost the baby. I cried for her and Andrew is vey gental with her and Camryn doesn’t like that and then Camryn starts using pills and they go visit Adain and Michelle and it looks like Adain and Michelle are having problems all they do is work which kind of sucks . But Camryn and Andrew play at Adians bar they have a great time and then Andrew find out about the pills and then Andrew gets Asher to drive Andrew’s car down so they can go on there roadtrip which Camryn was reluctant of because of loosing Lilly but they go and it was some time. There was a crazy time like a really fucked up crazy . They go from winter through summer florida was a fucked up place they party with some people and it was fine and then they get drugged and some weird ass things go down like sexual things. And the next morning Andrew punches the hell out of people and they deserve it the only two normal people were the ones that helped them they leave Florida . But Andrew is still mad at himself cause he was sapose to protect Camryn he punches a tree. They head to new Orleans where everything started between them they go to the bar where they played Barton hall where they find out eddie died sad and they go to the bar where they played pool it was so great to relive some of those memories . They headed to Galveston to visit his mom and they get married eeek they head back to camryns home they find a place and it’s a small cute place Andrew gets headache’s again and I’m worried as much as Camryn so they go to the doctor and everything is okay but he still needs to be checked up on and it was an amazing book I loved every bit of it . I loved seeing flashbacks from the first book so cute . Camryn and Andrew finally had there baby they named her Lilly everything is great I loved how it ended with Lily at graduation that was so cool . This story was amazing these two books are with me forever .

Quotes-
I really do forget about everything . Because that’s what a moment like this does to you. It makes you feel something so small inside of something so massive that it’s beyond comprehension . It strips away all of your problems , all of your hardships , all of your worldly needs and wants and desires , forcing you to realize just how insignificant all of it really is . It’s like the Earth becomes completely silent and still, and all that your mind can understand or feel is the vastness of the universe and you gasp thinking about your place within it .
Who needs psychiatrists ? Who needs grief counselors and life coaches and motivational speakers ? Fuck all of that . just stare at the night sky and let yourself get lost in it every now and then.
page 277

“Our story is over, yes, but our journey isn’t, because we’ll always live on the edge until the day we die.”

I guess sometimes the greatest memories are made in the most unlikely of places, further proof that spontaneity is more rewarding than a meticulously planned life.

You’re like a philosopher with tattoos.”

“Dear Camryn,
I know you’re scared. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little scared, too, but I have to believe that this time around everything will be fine. And it will be.
We’ve been through so much together. More than most people in such a short time. But no matter what, the one thing that has never changed is that we’re still together. Death couldn’t take me away from you. Weakness couldn’t make me look at you in a bad light. Drugs and all the shit that comes with them couldn’t take you away from me. I think it’s more safe to say that we’re indestructable.
Maybe all of this has been a test. Yeah, I think about that a lot and I’ve convinced myself of it. A lot of people take Fate for granted. Some have everything they’ve ever wanted right at their fingertips, but they abuse it. Others walk right past their only opportunity because they never open their eyes long enough to see that it’s there. But you and I, even before we met, took all the risks, made our own decisions without listening to everybody around us telling us, in so many ways, that what we’re doing is wrong. Hell no, we did it our way, no matter how reckless, or crazy or unconventional. It’s like the more we pushed and the more we fought, the harder the obstacles. Because we had to prove we were the real deal.
And I know we’ve done just that.
Camryn, I want you to read this letter to yourself once a week. It doesn’t matter what day or what time, just read it. Every time you open it, I want you to see that another week has passed and you’re still pregnant. That I’m still in good health. That we’re still together. I want you to think about the three of us, you, me and our son or daughter, traveling Europe and Soth America. Because we’re going to do it. I promise you that.
You’re everything to me, and I want you to stay strong and not let your fear of the past taint the path to our future. Everything will work out this time, Camryn, everything will, I swear to you.
Just trust me.
Until next week…
Love,
Andrew”

“Today is the first day of the rest of our lives. It’s a special day, for Lily, for us, for everything the three of us stand for. Our story is over, yes, but our journey isn’t, because we’ll always live on the edge until the day we die.”

“For anyone who has ever had a moment of weakness. It won’t be painful forever, so don’t let it get the best of you.”

And then this is where me meet Andrew Parish who is my new book boyfriend like oh my god this guy is amazing he sings he has tattoos he plays guitar and abs hahah . Now Andrew is on the bus to see his dying father but when Camryn tells Andrew to lower is his music sparks right away I wanted them to be together I liked them when they were just friends Andrew is so protective of Camryn . They spend all this bus ride getting to know each other but without really giving out anything personal .until Andrew’s last ride where I was really sad I was like how are they going to be together now and then this creep in the bathroom almost rapes Camryn and she has a knife and I’m freaking out and then Andrew shows up and beats the crap out of this guy . And then Camryn tells Andrew the truth So Camryn and Andrew go visit his dad which I don’t think Andrew could handle then we meet his brothers I kind of found it funny that all of them start with an A Adian Andrew and Asher and Andrew’s father asks if she’s his Eurydice which is a Greek myth and Andrew has the tattoo and it stops at one place he says if he ever gets married he wants the other half I thought that was adorable so him .Aand Cameryn hit the road and Andrew wants Cameryn to live to really experience life . There were allot of messages in this book that I loved I just want everyone to read this . There were some sexy times in this book and I thought they were nice but Andrew refused to sleep with Cameryn for stupid reason . And Cameryn told Andrew that she doesn’t think she really loved Ian that there is a difference with love and being in love and that when she’s with him she doesn’t think about him anymore and she thanked him for feeling alive for the first time. Yeah this book tore my heart apart but it did make me laugh at times. when Andrew’s father died I was sobbing cause they were crying and Andrew wants to leave Cameryn and I’m like Andrew just stop NO WAY he writes her a letter but she’s there and he yells at her just tell me how you feel and she did and it was beautiful and then they sleep together . They also preform at bars and it was amazing now when they get to Texas Cameryn is worried that this will be the end but Andrew wants to travel the world together . He introduces her to his mom so sweet and then we find out he has a brain tumor and i’m like NO NO NO he can’t die and I’m sobbing and cameryn doesn’t know . And then he has a seizure and I’m like oh crap no no no he goes the the hospitable and Asher is there and tells Cameryn about the tumor and he says it doesn’t look good and then she calls Natalile to come and she does and he gets the surgery but he falls into a coma and he might not come out and I’m sobbing again and then his mom gives camryn this letter . And it broke me and then it goes to two months later and I was so worried cause she was at a grave but Andrew is okay and she got the tattoo to match his and she’s pregnant and he asked her to marry him and oh my god this is amazing this is one of my favorite books ever I’m onto the last one now .
Quotes-
I learned a long time ago that it’s my future and my life and I can’t make myself live the way someone else wants me to live . page 70

Just that dwelling and is bullshit he says . You dwell on the past , you can’t move forward . Spend too much time planning for the future and you just push yourself backwards , or you can stay stagnant in the same place all your life . His eyes lock on mine live in the moment he says as if making a serious point , where everything is just right , take your time and limit your bad memories and you’ll get wherever it is your going a lot faster and with less bumps in the road along the way. page 90

“I know you lost your partner in crime, but…I want YOU to be MINE. Maybe WE should travel the world together, Camryn…I know I can’t replace your ex–”
“Andrew…it was always you.”

He’s gawking at me when I open the door.
Damn girl he says looking me over , what the hell are you trying to do to me ? I look down at myself , still trying to wake up the rest of the way and realize I’m in those tiny cotton white shirts and varsity tee with no bra on underneath. Oh my god , my nipples are like beacons shining through my shirt! I cross my arms over my chest and try not to look him in the eyes when he helps himself the rest of the way inside. I was going to tell you go get dressed , he goes on grinning as he walks into the room carrying his bags and the guitar, but really , you can just go like that if you want . I shake my head , hiding the smile creeping up on my face .
