Dear Santa,

Please stop by my house and pick up your suit. If you thought I was going to run it to the dry cleaners for you after you left it on my bedroom floor, you’ve got another think coming.

Best,
Noel Winter

Review: I loved the last of this series it was really cute .Noel’s coworker hired her brother to be Santa. An older lady at her work is trying to hook Noel with her grandson . So santa shows up and hits on Noel after they go for hot chocolate and then they hook up and she runs out of her own house oh god . Her coworker tells her she’s sorry that her brother ditched on the Santa event and Noel is confused but it turns out the guy Noel slept with and liked was the womans grandson and his name is Theodore but lets Noel call him teddy and they decide to start dating . A year later ginger is married and pregnant Holly is engaged and Noel is wondering when Teddy is going to so she asks him and he proposes it was adorable.
Quotes :
It’s also clear why Jillian sent the Santa padding along with the costume because her brother does not have the body to play Santa. Unless it was a male stripper version of Santa—

I ask Teddy if I can see his North Pole

Perhaps I could hire him to be my sex elf, then he’d have a job and I’d have a sex elf.

Book Review: If you give a jerk a gingerbread Jana Aston

If You Give A Jerk A Gingerbread (Reindeer Falls, #2)

If You Give A Jerk A Gingerbread by Jana Aston

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

December 24

Dear Santa,

I do not want Keller James for Christmas.

I will not fall for him, no matter how charming or irresistible or famous he is. I will not be swayed by his skills in the kitchen or by his British accent. I’m going to win the Great Gingerbread Bake Off and no one is going to stand in my way. Not even Keller.

All kisses are off. I mean all bets. All bets are off. And his clothes, those are off too.

Grr, never mind. I’ll figure this out myself.

XOXO,
Ginger Winter

Review: I loved this one as well even a bit more so this is about ginger winter who is Holly’s younger sister from book one she is competing in a gingerbread competition and she meets a guy named keller who she has the hots for hes British he has his own tv show on food network. Keller likes Ginger and teases her a bit calls her adorable I like them together. They are competing against each other . Ginger shows keller around her town and to this is old auto shop which is her dream place for her Bakeshop but it’s to big for just that . Keller and Ginger sleep together and Ginger confesses to her sister Noel that she’s falling for keller but Noel is distracted cause she slept with Santa . Ginger sees keller buying the auto shop and she’s pissed the last competition is make a gingerbread house and Keller makes a replica of the auto shop and he wants to make it a breakfast place and Bakeshop for them to run together and she says yes such a cute story.

Quotes:

Sweet Pillsbury Doughboy, this is my idea of porn. Keller James sitting before me, praising my baking. If my bakery plan falls apart I know what my next venture will be. Bakery porn. It’ll be nothing but attractive men eating my cookies. The camera will zoom in as their tongues flicker over their lips, sweeping up every last morsel. They’ll probably be shirtless too. I bet I can get subscribers to pay at least four ninety-nine a month for such a service.

I might have zoned out a little with my bakery porn scheme. Fine, I might also have been imagining him shirtless

I wasn’t flirting. You were flirting.” There. That’ll show him. That I’m twelve. Way to spar, Ginger. “Oh, I was definitely flirting,”

Oh, for elf’s sake. Did I really just say “single and ready to mingle?”

I’m having a lovely time. Thank you for inviting me, Ginger.” “I didn’t invite you,” I remind him. “You invited yourself.” “Oh, Gingersnap, you little flirt

Just because my dreams are smaller in nature doesn’t make them any less important or valid.

I’m fairly certain that the only thing I’d enjoy more than bantering with you is kissing you.”

Book Review: The boss who stole christmas Jana Aston

The Boss Who Stole Christmas (Reindeer Falls, #1)

The Boss Who Stole Christmas by Jana Aston

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Dec 21-24

Dear Santa,

Please bring me a new boss for Christmas. Mine is the worst. The worst, hidden in a six foot tall package of male perfection. It’d be easier if he looked like an old Scrooge, wouldn’t it?

Nick Saint-Croix doesn’t look like an old scrooge. He’s hot as-

Um, never mind. Just bring me a new boss. Please.

Sincerely,
Holly Winter

Review : This book was so cute I love this Christmas romance. Holly has to go to Germany with her jerky boss who is also hot for a business trip. When they get to Germany things start to get hot for Nick and Holly and Nick kisses Holly hes liked her since he met her and then they have sex twice .But then Holly starts to act weird and says that sleeping with Nick will never happen again. Holly finally realizes how she feels and tells Nick and she makes him a sexy advent calendar. Such a fun book

Quotes :I work at Flying Reindeer Toy Company. Which means my scrooge of a boss runs a toy company. Actual toys, not sex toys.

my name is Holly Winter. And I might as well just tell you now… I have two sisters named Ginger and Noel.

I get paid to work on projects involving cafés and teddy bears.

Kissing Nick is like finding out that Santa is coming twice this year.

Why did you do that? Why did you kiss me?

“Because I wanted to.” Not even a flinch. His voice is smooth

How long have you wanted to kiss me?” I ask, my voice barely audible. Wondering if this interest of his is going to disappear as fast as it’s appeared. “Since the first day.

It’s not a scowl when it’s directed at you. It’s pent-up sexual frustration,” he murmurs into my ear.

Did you just procure a condom from an Advent calendar?”

Miss Winter, did you buy me a dirty Advent calendar?”

Astrid killed him cause he stole all her work and made it his own like he did with beth she tries to kill Lindsey and beth at the library but ms. Coal hits Astrid with a oxford English dictionary perfect weapon. Loved this book cant wait to read the rest of the series.

Quotes :
As always , Lindsey felt all her trouble ease once she was back among the familiar. Just seeing the names on the spines of the books was like calling hello to old friends.

Road trips required a couple of things: a well-balanced diet of caffeine, salt and sugar and an excellent selection of tunes—oh, and directions.”

“It was funny how none of her classes in library science has prepared her for this sort of thing, dead bodies, staff under suspicion, crazed reporters. Really, they needed to consider expanding the curriculum.

Book Review: Sadie Courtney Summers

Sadie

Sadie by Courtney Summers

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

October 27-November 28

A missing girl on a journey of revenge and a Serial-like podcast following the clues she’s left behind.

Sadie hasn’t had an easy life. Growing up on her own, she’s been raising her sister Mattie in an isolated small town, trying her best to provide a normal life and keep their heads above water.

But when Mattie is found dead, Sadie’s entire world crumbles. After a somewhat botched police investigation, Sadie is determined to bring her sister’s killer to justice and hits the road following a few meager clues to find him.

When West McCray—a radio personality working on a segment about small, forgotten towns in America—overhears Sadie’s story at a local gas station, he becomes obsessed with finding the missing girl. He starts his own podcast as he tracks Sadie’s journey, trying to figure out what happened, hoping to find her before it’s too late.

Courtney Summers has written the breakout book of her career. Sadie is propulsive and harrowing and will keep you riveted until the last page.

Trigger warning pedophilia sexual assault
Review:
This book was a really interesting read I highly recommend the audiobook it was really highly produced .
So this book is told in two POV a podcast called the girls and Sadie’s point of view. Sadie’s younger sister maddie has been murdered and sadie knows who it was and wants to kill him . West the guy doing the podcast is trying to find out about sadie . Sadie finds out information about Keith who is really jack from a woman who dated him and left him cause of his interest. Sadie finds Marley brother silas but first she found his kids and a guy named Javi who she let herself for awhile like but then she stalks silas and finds some unsettling things and tells javi to call the police on him and he does get arrested thankfully. West is still finding out information about sadie and interviewing people she was using her middle name with people she was meeting . Sadie gets a motel room and finds this is a place Keith/jack stayed she has to get into that room so she does and she finds trofies from other girls hes abused with that she finds him and there was an altercation and I think we can guess what happened. West finds the last woman he was with Amanda and her daughter who was abused also jack is dead from an untreated stab wound probably from sadie . The ending yes it’s not satisfying but I think its realistic cause sometimes girls dont get found but I think we can guess jack killed sadie and he killed madie the DNA matched that so at least that was solved .

Quotes :
And it begins, as so many stories do, with a dead girl

But love is complicated, it’s messy. It can inspire selflessness, selfishness, our greatest accomplishments and our hardest mistakes. It brings us together and it can just as easily drive us apart.

I wish this was a love story. A love story about lovers whose mouths meet like two puzzle pieces fitting perfectly into place, about the electric feeling of one person’s name on the other’s tongue because no one has ever spoken them out loud like that before. About people who spend the night together looking at the stars until entire constellations exist within them. Everyone is perfect in that indistinct way most characters are and every perfectly constructed scene in their fictional lives is somehow more real than anything you’ve known or lived. Love stories, romances, leave a person secure in the knowledge they’ll end Happily Ever After and who wouldn’t want a story like that? I wish this was a love story because I know how it goes in one like mine, where the only moments of reprieve are the spaces between its lines. But here’s the thing I tell myself to dull the sharp edges of everything that’s surely left to come: The worst has already happened.

And Sadie, if you’re out there, please let me know. Because I can’t take another dead girl.”

Book Review: Truly Devious Maureen Johnson

Truly Devious (Truly Devious, #1)

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

October 1-26

Ellingham Academy is a famous private school in Vermont for the brightest thinkers, inventors, and artists. It was founded by Albert Ellingham, an early twentieth century tycoon, who wanted to make a wonderful place full of riddles, twisting pathways, and gardens. “A place,” he said, “where learning is a game.”

Shortly after the school opened, his wife and daughter were kidnapped. The only real clue was a mocking riddle listing methods of murder, signed with the frightening pseudonym “Truly, Devious.” It became one of the great unsolved crimes of American history.

True-crime aficionado Stevie Bell is set to begin her first year at Ellingham Academy, and she has an ambitious plan: She will solve this cold case. That is, she will solve the case when she gets a grip on her demanding new school life and her housemates: the inventor, the novelist, the actor, the artist, and the jokester. But something strange is happening. Truly Devious makes a surprise return, and death revisits Ellingham Academy. The past has crawled out of its grave. Someone has gotten away with murder.

The two interwoven mysteries of this first book in the Truly Devious series dovetail brilliantly, and Stevie Bell will continue her relentless quest for the murderers in books two and three.

Review : I freaking loved this book it was a crazy book of twists and turns . This book is taken place in the present and in the past . Ellingham academy is where the Ellingham murders took place where Albert Ellingham family were taken and murdered. Stevie Bell is looking forward to coming to Ellingham to solve the murder. Her family doesn’t get stevie they work for a politician who Stevie doesn’t support. Stevie gets to the school she makes some friends she get suspicious of one guy David he doesn’t have any social media and he’s very secretive. Hayes a guy who got famous from a online zombie show he made asks stevie to work with him to make a show on the Ellingham murders and she agrees and has her friend Nate write for the show. Then something bad happens Hayes died a malfunction with dry ice or maybe something else happened. David and Stevie made out oh my God. Stevie goes through David’s stuff and he gets mad which I understand David tells Stevie his parents died . Stevie starts to figure out some stuff . Ellie might be involved with Hayes death . Ellie helped Hayes write his show and then she runs away and then someone shows up the politician that Stevie doesn’t support shows up cause David is his son what the fuck.

Quotes :

Albert Ellingham said knowledge was his religion and libraries were his church, so he built a church.”

Did they know that Arthur Conan Doyle went on to investigate mysteries in his real life and absolved a man for a crime for which he has been convicted? Did they know how Agatha Christie brilliantly staged her own disappearance in order to exact an elegant revenge on a cheating husband? They probably did not. And no one was going to discount Stevie Bell, who had gotten into this school on the wings of her interest in the Ellingham case, and who had been a bystander at a death that was now looking more and more suspicious.”

I annoy people,” he said. “Believe me. I’m aware. It’s an effective way to communicate if you don’t have any other options. If you can’t get in through the door, throw a rock through the window. And I think maybe you’re the same way.

Book Review: The Goal Elle Kennedy

The Goal (Off-Campus, #4)

The Goal by Elle Kennedy

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

September 15-18

She’s good at achieving her goals…

College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn’t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she’s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.

But the game just got a whole lot more complicated…

Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he’s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina’s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he’ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.

Review : I loved this book I loved this series sabrina is tough and Tucker is sweet
Tucker and Sabrina hook up one night in tucker’s truck but Sabrina doesn’t do boyfriends she has a plan get into law school get out of her home with her mean grandma and creep of a stepfather. But Tucker wants her he keeps perusing her . Sabrina got into law school and she’s so happy but her friends finally convince her to go on a date with Tucker and she goes on a double date with her friend Tucker and Tucker teammate fitzy they all had a blast . Tucker’s mom wants him to move back to Texas after he graduates and he isn’t sure he wants to . Sabrina gets sick and she is still sick after she hooks up with tucker one night .He asks her if she’s pregnant and she is . She isn’t sure she wants to keep it but after Beau death and talking with his sister she wants to keep it . Tucker and her have a routine they find out the sex of the baby it’s a girl. Sabrina loves tucker but isn’t sure if she should say it .After the baby is born her name is Jamie they fall into a routine with sabrina at law school and Tucker buys a bar . Sabrina finally admits her feelings and she loves him . I loved this series the relationships the characters I laughed and cried .

Quotes :I love Jamie and I love Tucker and if, at any time, Harvard or work or anything threatens their happiness in any way, I would give it all up in a minute.” Her brown eyes widen. But I’m not done. “He and Jamie are the most important things in my life,” I say fiercely. “And everything I’m doing right now is to make sure that I keep them in my life, to make sure I can contribute to our family and give Jamie a better childhood than the one I had to deal with

My goal, once upon a time, was to succeed. I didn’t realize that success wasn’t grades or scholarships or achievements, but the people I was lucky enough to have in my life. As I look around the room, I want to give everyone a hug and a thank-you. A hug to express how much I love them and a thank-you for loving me back. Because love is the ultimate goal. It’s not the one I had strived for, but I was lucky enough, so damn lucky, to achieve it.

You’re the only one for me. My sun rises and sets on your smile. My heart beats because yours does.
Poor guy. The ladies go wild for Colin Fitzgerald, but in all the years I’ve known him, he’s been incredibly selective about who he goes out with. I think deep down he’s as old-fashioned as I am.

When I offer her some ice chips to chew on, she tells me to shove them up my ass. The one time I peeked over Doctor Laura’s shoulder at Sabrina’s lady parts, she told me that if I did that one more time, she’d break my hockey stick and stab me with it.

Sabrina James isn’t used to people loving her. Sometimes I wonder if she even knows how to love someone back, but then I see her with our daughter, the way her face softens with love and adoration every time she looks at Jamie, and I know she’s capable of feeling deeply.

“Why Gigi?” she asks slowly. Hannah sighs again. The name suddenly clicks in my head. Oh for fuck’s sake. “G.G.,” I mutter to Sabrina. “As in Garrett Graham.” She’s silent for a beat. Then she bursts out laughing, triggering giggles from Grace and eventually Hannah, who keeps shaking her head at her boyfriend. “What?” Garrett says defensively. “The godfather should have a say in the name. It’s in the rule book.” “What rule book?” Hannah bursts out. “You make up the rules as you go along!” “So?”

Garrett is holding a tiny newborn doll. Which is missing its head, by the way. “You fucking took it home?” Logan sounds outraged. “Hell yeah I did. What use were they going to have for it there? It doesn’t have a head, bro.” “Where’s ‘there’?” I ask carefully, though I’m not sure I want to know the answer. “Newborn CPR,” Garrett explains. “We took a course at the campus health center this morning.” “Newborn CPR?” Sabrina shakes her head, dazed. “It was the grace under pressure test.” Garrett smiles smugly. “Which he failed. I, of course, passed with flying colors.” “Is it my fault I don’t know my own strength?” Logan protests. “Yes!” Garrett says in a spurt of laughter. “That is totally your fault.” He holds up the doll and waves it around tauntingly. “Show me on the doll where your brain is. Oh right, you can’t. Because you fucking decapitated it

Him: Is that like naked Twister? Me: I have no clue. I send him the picture. Maybe he can make some sense out of it, because I sure can’t. Him: Was this taken with an actual camera or drawn by tiny leprechauns? Me: Carin’s a scientist, not an artist. Btw did u find someone? Him: Yes. My buddy Fitz is coming and b4 u ask, I have no idea re: his oral skills. But he’s hella smart, has a mean slapshot, and I’ve never heard any complaints. I take a screenshot of that text and send it to Carin. Me: Is this OK? Her: Can I have a pic? I text Tuck, Can she have a pic? Him: Of what? Dear God. This is a ridiculous game of actual telephone. Me: Tucker says: of what? Her: Face, abs, ass. No dick I take yet another screenshot and shoot that off to Tucker. While he considers the request, I wash my face and brush my teeth. By the time I climb into bed, there’s a message waiting for me. A picture of a gorgeous dark-haired guy flipping Tucker off fills my screen.

Wow. It’s incredible how hot these Briar hockey players are. Is that a requirement of making the team? Be able to slap the puck a hundred miles an hour and also star in the calendar?

Me: I’m bringing my friend Carin and u need to bring the hottest guy u know. Him: I’m the hottest guy I know. Will look for 2nd hottest guy on campus. She have any preferences? Me: Someone who knows how to use his tongue. Him: Again, that’d be me. Not sure how I’ll find out how good the other guys are w/ their equipment. Not a topic that comes up a lot. Me: That’s the price of my time. Him: On it.

Dean shoved a dildo up his ass last night.” Fitzy nods. “Makes sense.”

Damn, who would’ve thought that gingers could be so hot?

Hey, what if I said I was still interested?” I turn around to meet his eyes. “That’d be too bad.” Beau chuckles. “I thought so. Well, more power to you, dude, but I’m warning you—there are easier women than Sabrina.” “Why would I want someone easy?” I flash him a grin. “That doesn’t sound like any fun.”

Aug 26-Sep 7
It’s been five years since Summer Marks was brutally murdered in the woods.

Everyone thinks Mia and Brynn killed their best friend. That driven by their obsession with a novel called The Way into Lovelorn the three girls had imagined themselves into the magical world where their fantasies became twisted, even deadly.

The only thing is: they didn’t do it.

But as the lines begin to blur between past and present and fiction and reality, the girls must confront what really happened in the woods all those years ago—no matter how monstrous.

Brynn has been faking being an addict so she can stay in rehab. Mia wants to solve summer’s murder so with the help of her friend abby Brynn’s cousin wade and owen Mia’s past love they go back into lovelorn. Lovelorn was a book that summer was obsessed with and summer Brynn and Mia wrote a sequel and they would pretend to go to lovelorn but it wasn’t pretend to summer that day in the woods. First Brynn thinks owen killed her cause he was hiding something but he was hiding the lovelorn sequel Summer was writing . Summer stole owen from Mia and she was brokenhearted. Brynn was in love with summer but she was always messing with her . Summer was a little off she was a shitty friend and she was kinds crazy . Grey there teacher she was obsessed with summer she ended up killing herself but the police found evidence to finally clear Mia and Brynn name. Mia goes to New York to visit owen they spend the day together and they kiss it was so cute .

Quotes:
That’s the thing about hearts. They don’t get put back together, not really. They just get patched. But the damage is still there.”

The problem with fairy tales isn’t that they don’t exist. It’s that they do exist, but only for some people.”

In books, secret worlds are accessible by doors or keys or other physical objects. But Lovelorn was not such a world, and appeared at whim and only when it felt like it, with a subtle change like the slow shifting of afternoon to evening.”

Quotes : “Libraries were full of ideas—perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons.”

“You could rattle the stars,” she whispered. “You could do anything, if only you dared. And deep down, you know it, too. That’s what scares you most.”

“We all bear scars,… Mine just happen to be more visible than most.”

“No. I can survive well enough on my own— if given the proper reading material.

“My name is Celaena Sardothien. But it makes no difference if my name’s Celaena or Lillian or Bitch, because I’d still beat you, no matter what you call me.”

“I like music,” she said slowly, “because when I hear it, I . . . I lose myself within myself, if that makes any sense. I become empty and full all at once, and I can feel the whole earth roiling around me. When I play. I’m not . . . for once, I’m not destroying, I’m creating.”

No matter what happens,” she said quietly, “I want to thank you.”
Chaol tilted his head to the side. “For what?”
Her eyes stung but she blamed it on the fierce wind and blinked away the dampness. “For making my freedom mean something.”

She moaned into her pillow. “Go away. I feel like dying.”
“No fair maiden should die alone,” he said, putting a hand on hers. “Shall I read to you in your final moments? What story would you like?”
She snatched her hand back. “How about the story of the idiotic prince who won’t leave the assassin alone?”
“Oh! I love that story! It has such a happy ending, too—why, the assassin was really feigning her illness in order to get the prince’s attention! Who would have guessed it? Such a clever girl. And the bedroom scene is so lovely—it’s worth reading through all of their ceaseless banter!

Book Review: we told six lies Victoria Scott

We Told Six Lies

We Told Six Lies by Victoria Scott

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

May 26-29
Remember how many lies we told, Molly? It’s enough to make my head spin. You were wild when I met you, and I was mad for you. But then something happened. And now you’re gone.

But don’t worry. I’ll find you. I just need to sift through the story of us to get to where you might be. I’ve got places to look, and a list of names.

The police have a list of names, too. See now? There’s another lie. There is only one person they’re really looking at, Molly.

And that’s yours truly.

Review : this book was fucking crazy and I loved it it’s about a boy and girl who tell lies but then the girl goes missing. Its told in three POV then ,now and molly . We are to believe that molly ran away but Cobain doesn’t believe that he believes she was taken and he has suspects. Molly was taken by a man who makes her call him blue he has a mask and she’s trying to manipulate him to let her go . No one believes Cobain when they think she was taken not even his brother who is coming around more often than usual. In the then part we learn molly’s dad con some people and got someone to kill himself and now hes in jail . I had some guesses on who took molly but I figured it out early on but I needed to know why. Cobain is finally taken in by the police they believe he took molly but he escapes and calls his brother then it hits him hes not there his brother holt died he killed him and it’s just his mind playing tricks on him . He calls his mom and she explains he didn’t kill him holt was unwell so they sent him away . Holt took molly I so guessed that Cobain was talking to himself . Holt had issues and his parents sent him away after he tired to hurt Cobain. Cobain finds molly and holt and so do the police . This book was so crazy I loved it

Book Review: Misadventures of a curvy girl Sierra Simone

Misadventures of a Curvy Girl (Misadventures Book 18)

Misadventures of a Curvy Girl by Sierra Simone

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

April 24-28

For the first time in her life, Ireland Mills is happy with her body. No more fad diets, no more hiding from every camera in the room, no more low self-esteem. She’d rather be alone than with someone who’ll only love her if she’s skinny.

Caleb Carpenter and Ben Weber are everything Ireland and the Kansas Chamber of Commerce dreamed of when conceptualizing the “Real Kansas” promotional campaign. They’re handsome, young, educated, and totally dedicated to their small prairie town.

When Ireland’s Prius gets stuck on a Kansas dirt road and a massive storm rips through town, she’s left stranded with nowhere to turn but to Caleb and Ben. These two hunky country boys are impossible to ignore, but could they ever be interested in her as well?

Caleb and Ben are more than interested…and they’re willing to share. After their first night together, they know this has to be more than a one-time thing. They need to make her theirs forever. But can they convince Ireland they love her, curves and all?

Review : loved this book I related to Ireland a lot she dumped her dick of a boyfriend who didn’t accept her body. So on a work trip to take photos of a farm . She meets caleb and then she meets Ben. Caleb and Ireland end up kissing then we meet Ben a former soldier and they all end up having sex see Ben and caleb do better with a third in a relationship. This book was a look into a polyamorous relationship. But when a storm hits the town and Ireland almost gets hurt Ben is scared and yells at her to go home . So she goes but forgot her camera so she goes back and Ben is there and he apologizes and wants her to stay and she does .They all start a relationship but when a reporter wants to do a story on Ireland who has been taking photos of the town and she gets made fun of online she leaves but she’s sad until she gets a visitor Ben and caleb’s ex girlfriend who tells her she needs to go back to them and fuck the haters mostly .So they showed up with flowers aww so sweet they go back and it flashes to Christmas and caleb proposes to Ireland and Ben it was so sweet.

And started wearing the clothes everyone said I shouldn’t—crop tops and leggings and short dresses and over-the-knee boots—and I started taking dance classes for the hell of it, because it sounded fun and because I wasn’t going to care anymore about being the biggest woman in the room or the one who sweats the most or breathes the loudest. I was going to live in my body now.

You don’t care, remember? It’s better to be alone than with someone who doesn’t like you with the body you have.

Out in the circle of lamplight, Ben watches Caleb slowly go still, and they both let out a long breath. “She must be something,” Ben says, the heel of his palm still hard against his fly. He’s just as affected by the unfiltered and brutish sight of Caleb coming as I am, but he seems to have more control. Me, I’m on the edge of my own orgasm, my eyes still riveted on the sight of Caleb’s unflagging erection. But Ben is still all cool words and careful, catlike posture. Only his palm pressed to his covered cock gives him away. “She is,” Caleb rumbles, still catching his breath. “I can’t wait for you to meet her.” “Oh, I don’t think I’ll have to wait long,” Ben replies coolly. “She’s right here in the barn with us. Aren’t you, Ireland?

She hesitantly steps out of the stall, a flush high on her cheeks—one I know will be matched on Caleb’s face. Thirty-three years old, and he still blushes like he did in grade school

You’re done with that now. No more apologizing just because you’re scared of people walking away.

The fish are very nice fish,” Caleb promises. “They haven’t eaten a person in years.

You guys,” she admonishes, pushing us back with a flat palm to each of our chests. “I’m supposed to meet a reporter from the Star at any minute, and I can’t do that with lipstick all over my face and a used condom in my pocket.” “Well, obviously we’d throw the condom away after—” Her hand moves from my chest to my mouth. “Your talking privileges are suspended

It’s that word, isn’t it? Fat?” “Well, I don’t—” “Do you think fat means bad?” “I mean, I—” Hand wave. “It’s just a word, princess
