favorite quote I always felt sorry for humans, spending so much time in front of the mirror. Fixing their hair, makeup, and clothes, mostly to impress others. Did they really see themselves in the mirror? Was it what they wanted to see? Did it make them feel good or bad? And mostly I wondered if they based their self-image on their reflected one.”

Book Review: the duff kody keplinger

The Duff (Designated Ugly Fat Friend)The Duff by Kody Keplinger
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Summary Seventeen-year-old Bianca Piper is cynical and loyal, and she doesn’t think she’s the prettiest of her friends by a long shot. She’s also way too smart to fall for the charms of man-slut and slimy school hottie Wesley Rush. In fact, Bianca hates him. And when he nicknames her “the Duff,” she throws her Coke in his face.

But things aren’t so great at home right now, and Bianca is desperate for a distraction. She ends up kissing Wesley. Worse, she likes it. Eager for escape, Bianca throws herself into a closeted enemies-with-benefits relationship with him.
Until it all goes horribly awry. It turns out Wesley isn’t such a bad listener, and his life is pretty screwed up, too. Suddenly Bianca realizes with absolute horror that she’s falling for the guy she thought she hated more than anyone.

Favorite quote “Spanish, huh?” he said, glancing down at the scattered papers as
he grabbed them. “Can you say anything interesting?”
“El tono de tu voz hace que queria estrangularme.” I stood up and waited for him to hand over my papers.
“That sounds sexy,” he said, getting to his feet and handing me the stack of Spanish work he’d swept together. “What’s it mean?”
“The sound of your voice makes me want to strangle myself.”
“Kinky.”

Review-
when Bianca piper goes out with her friends Casey and Jessica at the nest the teen club she doesn’t really have a great time and the day when Wesley rush calls her the Duff the dumb ugly fat friend she was pissed I mean I would of been to . Bianca isn’t a the biggest fan of Wesley he’s a manwhore a womanizer and she is the duff but when some family issues come up she needs a stress relief so she ends of sleeping with Wesley more than once and it turns into a web of lies with her friends her dad starts drinking again and it just becomes to much and when she starts to fall for Wesley she breaks it off and starts to date Toby who she has had a crush on for three years but there doesn’t seam to be a connection and when Wesley just tells her how she feels she couldn’t lie to herself anymore

Book Review: Angus thongs and full -frontal snogging louise rennison

Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging (Confessions of Georgia Nicolson, #1)Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Title angus thongs and full frontal snogging
Author
Release April 13, 2000

Summary
There are six things very wrong with my life:

1. I have one of those under-the-skin spots that will never come to a head but lurk in a red way for the next two years.

2. It is on my nose

3. I have a three-year-old sister who may have peed somewhere in my room.

4. In fourteen days the summer hols will be over and then it will be back to Stalag 14 and Oberfuhrer Frau Simpson and her bunch of sadistic teachers.

5. I am very ugly and need to go into an ugly home.

6. I went to a party dressed as a stuffed olive.

In this wildly funny journal of a year in the life of Georgia Nicolson, British author Louise Rennison has perfectly captured the soaring joys and bottomless angst of being a teenager. In the spirit of Bridget Jones’s Diary, this fresh, irreverent, and simply hilarious book will leave you laughing out loud. As Georgia would say, it’s “Fabbity fab fab!”

Review This book was so funny it’s about Georgia nickleson this book is in the style of a diary we hear about her friends , school and the boy she likes she’s a teenager so she has some drama this made me laugh I loved it .
