January 4-6 Hi there! It’s Kae again. When I go to school every day, it feels like I’m walking into a real life dating game. Four of the hottest guys in my school are with me everywhere I go!The school festival is coming up and I’ve been put in charge of making the boys outfits for a cosplay café. Do you know what this means? That’s right, I get to see them all in costume! I have lived for this day, and this day alone. I’m brimming with excitement to go full-throttle fujoshi on those boys! But wait! Last night before the festival, Igarashi-kun was acting kind of weird, wasn’t he?And now, it’s the day of the event and crazy things keep happening to me with these four beautiful boys! My heart won’t stop pounding! This is way too real for me. I want to go back to my fantasiesReview : The second vol was very cute Kae class is doing a cossplay cafe and she is making the costumes and shes overwelled so the guys help out . Igarshi likes kae and he says he wants to go with her just him and her to the festival but Nana and shinomia aren’t cool with that mutisumi says they can make schedule so they all get time with Kae and Kae is freaking out cause she’s not use to this kind of stuff there was a lot that happened with the guys a kae freaks out and runs off and she’s assaulted by some other guys but then her friends show up to help . Book review kiss him not me vol 1

December 25-25

Hi there! My name is Serinuma Kae.I’m the kind of girl who loves checking out boys and fantasizing about them getting friendly (and more) with each other—I’m what you might call a fujoshi. One day, my beloved (yes, he’s an anime character) died, and the shock of it all was more than I could have ever prepared for! My grief over his passing resulted in some ridiculous weight-loss!And you won’t believe what happened next! Soon after my change, the four most divinely gorgeous boys in my school asked me out on dates! I accepted them all, and you’d think I’d be happy with my sudden popularity, but the truth is, my heart only yearns for a prince to be next to his prince. Ahh, yes, boys, I’d much prefer that you turn your affections elsewhere and KISS HIM, NOT ME

Review : I loved this manga I watched the anime and it was so cute this manga is about kae who loves BL stuff and after her favorite character died she goes into a depression and doesn’t come out of her room but she goes from an overweight girl to a thin girl and then she starts getting attention from some boys I love the guys Assume is my favorite cause he liked kae before she was thin. The first part was about her hiding her otoku side in front of the boys but couldn’t hold it in but they didn’t care . The second part was she was asked to be on the soccer team so her friends help her cause she isn’t really good at it but they win . Kae needs to study or she has to take summer classes so Asume offers to help her but the others offer to this one was so funny can’t wait to read the rest

Book Review: Haikyu !! Volume 1 Haruichi Furudate

Haikyu!!, Vol. 1Haikyu!!, Vol. 1 by Haruichi Furudate
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

October 8-October 11
A chance event triggered Shouyou Hinata’s love for volleyball. His club had no members, but somehow persevered and finally made it into its very first and final regular match of middle school, where it was steamrolled by Tobio Kageyama, a superstar player known as “King of the Court.”

Vowing revenge, Hinata applied to the Karasuno High School volleyball club… only to come face-to-face with his hated rival, Kageyama

Book Review : I loved this first vol I watch the anime and I was wondering how the manga would be and in July it was released in English . This is about Hinata who has a love for volleyball since he saw on TV the little giant . Hinata gathered his friends and some first years and he finally got to play volleyball and then we meet Kageyama the king of the court . They Play against each other and Kageyama’s team wins . Hinata works hard and gets into high school and as he enters the gym there is Kageyama . Then we meet some new characters who I love Dashi , Sugawara and Tanaka . Hinata and Kageyama start fighting and Dashi freaks out and won’t let them join until they develop some team spirit . Kageyama and Hinata challenge the third years to a game and there going to be playing with Tanaka who is one of my favorite characters . Sugawara helps Hinata with volleyball and Kageyama practices with Hinata and then we meet the other first years Tsuki and yamaguchi . Tsuki is kind of a prick so they play the game and Hinata isn’t doing so well he keeps getting blocked and then he amazes everyone with his jumping . I plan to read the second vol soon I loved this Manga

Book review : Silent voice vol 2

July 22-july 23SPEAKING WITH ACTIONSIt’s been five years since Shoya Ishida bullied Shoko Nishimiya so badly she left their elementary school, because of one simple difference between them: Shoya can hear, and Shoko can’t. In the intervening time, Shoya’s life has changed completely. Shunned by his friends, Shoya’s longed for the chance to make up for his cruelty. When it finally comes, will he find the voice to tell Shoko he’s changed? And will Shoko listen?Review : I’m loving this series Shoya apologizes and him and Shoka sort of become friends . Shoya makes a friend and there is this “boy” who doesn’t want Shoya to be around Shoka but it turns out to be Shoka sister there was this fake artical that came out and Shoka sister was the one that did it . Shoka sister runs away from home and Shoka is out looking for her and no one can find her so they go and look for her I really enjoyed this one this series is really good .

A Silent Voice, Vol. 1 by Yoshitoki Ōima

Book Review : A silent voice SPOILERS

July 22-22

LEARNING TO LISTENShoya is a bully. When Shoko, a girl who can’t hear, enters his elementary school class, she becomes their favorite target, and Shoya and his friends goad each other into devising new tortures for her. But the children’s cruelty goes too far. Shoko is forced to leave the school, and Shoya ends up shouldering all the blame. Six years later, the two meet again. Can Shoya make up for his past mistakes, or is it too late?

Review : Shoya is a bully and a jerk and when a deaf girl starts school he starts picking on her and writing mean things about her he doesn’t understand why she doesn’t fight back and all she does is smile . I wasn’t sure if I’d like this because I don’t like bulling stories especially involving a disability but Shoya learned his lesson he looses his “friends” but he wants to make up for what he did in the past and 5 years later Shoko is back in his life .

Haruiro AstronautHaruiro Astronaut by Ichigo Takano
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

July 19-19

Mami and Tomoki have always shared everything in life, they are identical twins, yet so different in character and personality: Mami tender and helpless, courted by boys to whom she doesn’t never “no” for excessive kindness, Tomoki with a strong sense of duty and a great spirit of sacrifice, would do anything to see her sister happy. But comes a time, however, when one realizes there are things cannot be shared, especially when it is something extremely rare and unique …. just like an alien?!

Review : This manga was so cute so this is about two twins Mami and Chiki there very different from each other . Yui and Mami start going out but Chiki likes Yui and then there is tatsuaki who went out with Mami and really liked her but it’s differnt now he like Chiki and Yui’s Childhood friend natsuki consesses to Chiki .but she gets close to tatsuaki who always stands up for her there so cute together she lets down Natsuki she didn’t want to hurt she didn’t like him that way . She likes Tatsuaki and she tells him so cute I loved it .

Book Review: Orange volume 5 ichigo Takano

Orange 5 (オレンジ, #5)

Orange 5 by Ichigo Takano
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Book review : Orange vol 5 July 19-19

In the Spring she was 16, Takamiya Naho receives a strange, but detailed letter from herself, ten years in the future. At first she thinks the letter is a prank, but then the things written in the letter actually happen, including the new transfer student that sits next to her in class, Naruse Kakeru. The letter reads just like her diary entries, down to the same characters. It is not till two weeks later, when Kakeru shows back up at school, that Naho finishes the letter. In the letter, her 27-year-old self tells her 16-year-old self that her biggest regret is that Kakeru is no longer with them in the future, and asks her to watch him closely.

Review: The last one was my favorite but so sad . Kakeru is still sad over his mother he thinks it’s his fault . Naho and Kakeru get in a fight and become more distant that’s when Naho Confesses to him . I cried and laughed so much in this manga Kakeru has all these friends and he’s in pain and he died cause he drove his bike in front of a truck but they plan to stop it Higata said they should break his bike I love him haha and he ended up doing so they find Kakeru trying to kill himself but suwa tackles him and they tell him about the letters I loved this series so much . Kakeru ends up finding his mom’s phone with a message she never sent to him she divorced his father cause he was beating her and didn’t want Kakeru to get hurt and she found out the people on the soccer team was bulling him . I feel in a way that message helped Kakeru I loved this series great ending .
