Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter is preparing to leave the Dursleys and Privet Drive for the last time. Review : I’ve finally finished the Harry Potter series I love this series and this book might be my second favorite other than goblet of fire . In the last book Harry’s destiny one must die so either him or Voldemort. Bill and flur wedding is going on and harry must be is disguise . Ron , Hermoine and Harry are going on the run death waters show at the wedding so they must go to serius house where kreacher is there Harry is his master . kreacher doesn’t really like harry . Harry Ron and Hermione must destroy the horcruxes. Ron gets angry with them and leaves them Hermione is angry Hermione and Harry go on and are almost killed . A lot happens in this book Ron finally comes back . Remus and Tonx had their baby they named him Teddy . Hermione was tortured by bellatrix but they saved her and Dobby died I cried when he died and Hedwig very sad . They must get to Hogwarts they go through the pub and meet Dumbledore brother who tells them of Dumbledore and his sisters death . They get to Hogwarts and the war has started . Harry knows it’s time to meet with Voldemort. Ron and Hermione finally kiss aww
Snape was killed by Voldemort and harry goes to the pensive to see Snapes memories of when he first met lily and everything how he was working with Dumbledore and how they planned Dumbledore death wow .Fred was killed I sobbed . Harry goes to the forest where Voldemort tries to kill him and Harry passes out for awhile but hes not dead Draco mother asks if Draco is still alive and she tells Voldemort Harry is dead .Hagrid takes Harry back to Hogwarts they all think Harry is dead and the fight is still going on Bellatrix tries to kill Ginny by mrs Weasley is not having it and kills her . Harry finally kills Voldemort. 19 years later and his son is going to Hogwarts and his son is worried he will be in slytherin but Harry tells him not to worry and if he wants he can get the hat to the house he wants . Loved this book and series .

There was a clatter as the basilisk fangs cascaded out of Hermione’s arms. Running at Ron, she flung them around his neck and kissed him full on the mouth. Ron threw away the fangs and broomstick he was holding and responded with such enthusiasm that he lifted Hermione off her feet.
“Is this the moment?” Harry asked weakly, and when nothing happened except that Ron and Hermione gripped each other still more firmly and swayed on the spot, he raised his voice. “OI! There’s a war going on here!”
Ron and Hermione broke apart, their arms still around each other.
“I know, mate,” said Ron, who looked as though he had recently been hit on the back of the head with a Bludger, “so it’s now or never, isn’t it?


On this spot, on the night of 31 October 1981, Lily and James Potter lost their lives. Their son, Harry, remains the only wizard ever to have survived the Killing Curse. This house, invisible to Muggles, has been left in its ruined state as a monument to the Potters and as a reminder of the violence that tore apart their family. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.

“Always,” said Snape.”

That wand’s more trouble than it’s worth,’ said Harry. ‘And quite honestly,’ he turned away from the painted portraits, thinking now only of the four-poster bed lying waiting for him in Gryffindor Tower, and wondering whether Kreacher might bring him a sandwich there, ‘I’ve had enough trouble for a lifetime.”

Bellatrix was still fighting too, fifty yards away from Voldemort, and like her master she dueled three at once: Hermione, Ginny, and Luna, all battling their hardest, but Bellatrix was equal to them, and Harry’s attention was diverted as a Killing Curse shot so close to Ginny that she missed death by an inch — He changed course, running at Bellatrix rather than Voldemort, but before he had gone a few steps he was knocked sideways. “NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!” Mrs. Weasley threw off her cloak as she ran, freeing her arms. Bellatrix spun on the spot, roaring with laughter at the sight of her new challenger. “OUT OF MY WAY!” shouted Mrs. Weasley to the three girls, and with a swipe of her wand she began to duel. Harry watched with terror and elation as Molly Weasley’s wand slashed and twirled, and Bellatrix Lestrange’s smile faltered and became a snarl. Jets of light flew from both wands, the floor around the witches’ feet became hot and cracked; both women were fighting to kill. “No!” Mrs. Weasley cried as a few students ran forward, trying to come to her aid. “Get back! Get back! She is mine!” Hundreds of people now lined the walls, watching the two fights, Voldemort and his three opponents, Bellatrix and Molly, and Harry stood, invisible, torn between both, wanting to attack and yet to protect, unable to be sure that he would not hit the innocent. “What will happen to your children when I’ve killed you?” taunted Bellatrix, as mad as her master, capering as Molly’s curses danced around her. “When Mummy’s gone the same way as Freddie?” “You — will — never — touch — our — children — again!” screamed Mrs. Weasley. Bellatrix laughed, the same exhilarated laugh her cousin Sirius had given as he toppled backward through the veil, and suddenly Harry knew what was going to happen before it did. Molly’s curse soared beneath Bellatrix’s outstretched arm and hit her squarely in the chest, directly over her heart. Bellatrix’s gloating smile froze, her eyes seemed to bulge: For the tiniest space of time she knew what had happened, and then she toppled, and the watching crowd roared, and Voldemort screamed.”


Albus Severus,” Harry said quietly, so that nobody but Ginny could hear, and she was tactful enough to pretend to be waving to Rose, who was now on the train, “you were named for two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man I ever knew.”


But if it matters to you, you’ll be able to choose Gryffindor over Slytherin. The Sorting Hat takes your choice into account.”
“Really?”
“It did for me,” said Harry.
He had never told any of his children that before, and he saw the wonder in Albus’s face when he said it.”

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling

The war against Voldemort is not going well; even Muggle governments are noticing. Ron scans the obituary pages of the Daily Prophet, looking for familiar names. Dumbledore is absent from Hogwarts for long stretches of time, and the Order of the Phoenix has already suffered losses.
And yet…

As in all wars, life goes on. Sixth-year students learn to Apparate — and lose a few eyebrows in the process. The Weasley twins expand their business. Teenagers flirt and fight and fall in love. Classes are never straightforward, though Harry receives some extraordinary help from the mysterious Half-Blood Prince.

So it’s the home front that takes center stage in the multilayered sixth installment of the story of Harry Potter. Here at Hogwarts, Harry will search for the full and complex story of the boy who became Lord Voldemort — and thereby find what may be his only vulnerability.



Review : I freaking loved this book I cried and laughed so the war on voldemort is going on Dumbledore picks up harry at his house and ends up talking to the dursly’s which was hilarious I love Dumbledore . Harry and Dumbledore visit this old professor to convince him to teach back at Hogwarts and Harry does . Dumbledore ends up teaching a lot to harry during this year he ends up showing Harry a lot of memories of people dealing with voldemort . Harry thinks Draco is up to something . Snape makes the unbreakable vow to help Draco . While taking potions Harry finds this potion book in class with notes from the Half blood prince that help him in class . Harry and Dumbledore are trying to get this memory from slughorn so harry uses felix felicis to help him get the memory and he gets it and goes to dumbledore . Ron ends up starting dating this girl named Lavender, Herminne is jealous like ugh just be together already and Harry is starting to have feelings for Ginny . Ron eats these chocolates filled with love potion from a girl who sent them to Harry . So Harry goes to slughorn to have him help and they have a glass of meed to celebrate ron’s birthday but it was poisoned but Ron was okay . griffindore wins there last quiditch match and Harry kisses Ginny . Dumbledore asks harry to help him find this horcrux and they get it and Dumbledore has to drink this stuff which is pretty much poison and he’s loosing his mind and they get back and Draco is there planning to kill Dumbledore but snape kills him and I was sobbing and angry ugh I hate snape .

Ron and Hermione both roared with laughter. Harry ignored them.
What did you tell her?”
I told her it’s a Hungarian Horntail,” said Ginny, turning a page of the newspaper idly. “Much more macho.”
Thanks,” said Harry, grinning. “And what did you tell her Ron’s got?”
A Pygmy Puff, but I didn’t say where.”


Sometimes you remind me a lot of James. He called it my ‘furry little problem’ in company. Many people were under the impression that I owned a badly behaved rabbit.


What do I care how ‘e looks? I am good-looking enough for both of us, I theenk! All these scars show is zat my husband is brave!”

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the pivotal fourth novel in the seven-part tale of Harry Potter’s training as a wizard and his coming of age. Harry wants to get away from the pernicious Dursleys and go to the International Quidditch Cup with Hermione, Ron, and the Weasleys. He wants to dream about Cho Chang, his crush (and maybe do more than dream). He wants to find out about the mysterious event involving two other rival schools of magic, and a competition that hasn’t happened for a hundred years. He wants to be a normal, fourteen-year-old wizard. Unfortunately for Harry Potter, he’s not normal — even by wizarding standards.

And in this case, different can be deadly.

Review : This may be my favorite of the series so in this book the Triwizard tournament is happening and somehow Harry’s name gets put in the cup . And he’s writing letters to Sirus to tell him what is happening . There is a new defense of the dark arts teacher Professor Moody and he’s a bit weird but hes and interesting character . The cool thing about this book we got to see wizards from Different countries . Herminone is working out SPEW it’s about having house elves being paid for work . And there is this stupid reporter who keeps telling lies and stories about everyone mostly Harry and even Hagrid she spills that Hagrid is half giant . Harry is doing pretty well with his tasks and he might even win . When Harry goes to see Dumbledoor about his scar hurting he sees into the past and the trial of Barty crouch’s son who was one of Voldemort’s alies . The last task comes and it’s maze with some tricks and it’s down to Harry and Cedric and they both hold onto the cup and it’s a portkey and voldemort is back and Cedric is dead he gets away from Voldemort barley and tells everyone Voldemort is back but not everyone believes him . Moody takes harry and it turns out he was Barty crouch Jr. using pollyjuice potion this book was epic and action I loved it.

“Angelina,” said Fred promptly, without a trace of embarrassment.
“What?” said Ron, taken aback. “You’ve already asked her?”
“Good point,” said Fred. He turned his head and called across the common room, “Oi! Angelina!”
Angelina, who had been chatting with Alicia Spinnet near the fire, looked over at him.
“What?” She called back.
“Want to come to the ball with me?”
Angelina gave Fred a sort of appraising look.
“All right, then,” she said, and she turned back to Alicia and carried on chatting with a bit of a grin on her face.
“There you go,” said Fred to Harry and Ron, “piece of cake.”

Next time there’s a ball, ask me before someone else does, and not as a last resort!”

“Harry… take my body back, will you? Take my body back to my parents…”

The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan

Review – Percy Jackson Just wanted to get through Freshmen orientation smoothly that was until he sees someone who saved his life and an evil cheerleader throwing bombs he runs out of there with Rachel and meets up with Annabeth and they go to camp. Grover may be getting his searcher licence taken from him because he can’t find Pan . when playing capture the flag they find the labyrinth oh and they have a new teache.r quintis which percy thinks is kind of strange and there is is Ms . oleary who is a hell hound. Annabeth has gotten her quest and takes Percy Tyson and Grover . And they go into the labyrinth Percy has been getting these messages into seeing Niko which was from Bianca who is working with a ghost mitos . They need to find Daedalus so he can help . And Percy has been getting dreams from Luke and what is going on with Kronos. Grover finally hears something from pan and he has to go find it Tyson and Grover go off on there own . They find Daedalus and Nico is taken in but we find out who Daedalus is it was quintus I was so stunded he doesn’t want to help though , it made me so mad they take the wings and go . Rachel ends up helping along the way because she can see through the mist. oh and kronos has taken over lukes body I was like WTF . They find Pan who ends up dying anyway. and when they get back to camp and the camp is under attack people die. it ends up going bad and what ends it was Grover’s scream which I think was from Pan . when dyonysos sticks up for Grover which was a shock to all of us and helps chris who was gone insane I really liked this book and at the end when it comes to Nico he doesn’t stay at camp he goes to find out what happened in the past . Percy goes home and celabrates his birthday paul blowfus asks percy if he can ask his mom to marry him so sweet and then percy’s dad show’s up what the heck I loved it I can’t wait to know what happens in the last one .

Favorite quotes –

I probably would’ve sat there for the rest of the day , staring at the lava and trying to remember what my name was , but the sea demons jarred me back to life . page 203

Rachel: You’re a half-blood, too?

Annabeth: Shhh! Just announce it to the world, how about?

Rachel: Okay. Hey, everybody! These two aren’t human! They’re half Greek god!…They don’t seem to care.”

My mother made a squeaking sound that might of been either “yes” or “help”.

Poseidon took it as a yes and came in.

Paul was looking back and forth between us, trying to read our expressions.

Finally he stepped forward.

“Hi, I’m Paul Blofis.”

Poseidon raised an eyebrow and then shook his hand.

“Blowfish, did you say?”

“Ah, no. Blofis, actually.”

“Oh, I see,” Poseidon said. “A shame. I quite like blowfish. I am Poseidon.”

“Poseidon? That’s an interesting name.”

“Yes, I like it. I’ve gone by other names, but I do prefer Poseidon.”

“Like the god of the sea.”

“Very much like that, yes”

“Well!” My mother interrupted. “Um, were so glad you could drop by. Paul, this is Percy’s father.”

“Ah.” Paul nodded, though he didn’t look real pleased. “I see.”

Poseidon smiled at me. “There you are, my boy. And Tyson, hello, son!”

“Daddy!” Tyson [shouted]…

Paul’s jaw dropped. He stared at my mother. “Tyson is…”

”
Not mine,” she promised. “It’s a long story.”
