Can you keep a secret?
I grew up sick.
Let me clarify.
I grew up believing that real love stories include a martyr or demand great sacrifice to be worthy.
Because of that, I believed it, because I made myself believe it, and I bred the most masochistic of romantic hearts, which resulted in my illness.
When I lived this story, my own twisted fairy tale, it was unbeknownst to me at the time because I was young and naïve. I gave into temptation and fed the beating beast, which grew thirstier with every slash, every strike, every blow.
Triple Falls wasn’t at all what it seemed, nor were the men that swept me under their wing. But in order to keep them, I had to be in on their secrets.
Secrets that cost us everything to keep.
That’s the novelty of fiction versus reality. You can’t re-live your own love story, because by the time you’ve realized you’re living it, it’s over. At least that was the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to.
Looking back, I’m convinced I willed my story into existence due to my illness.
And all were punished.
Review : I loved this book it was insane and I can’t wait to start the sequel . This is about Cecelia see she’s staying with her father she barely knows for a year so she can get her inherentance . At her job the one her father owns she meets Sean . Sean and Cecelia fall for each other fast . Sean’s friend Dom is definitely interesting Cecelia has heard rumors about them about how they share woman and oh its true and Cecelia dives in with night and day with these men. See these men they are into some sketchy stuff even stuff Cecelia doesn’t know . But one day she is humiliated and Sean gives her a sort of truth . See she’s the secret they all want to take her father down and she was kinda a pawn but now it’s to dangerous for her to be involved See Cecelia father covered up Doms parents murder . And Sean and his friends are going to give the town back to who deserves it . I can’t wait to start the second one .
Quotes : Those boys, pretty as they are, I think might have the devil inside them.”
My eyes glide over the perfection that is Alfred Sean Roberts as he walks in contemplative silence beside me.
My rainy days are yours, Dominic. If you want them.”
Don’t knock romance books. From the last one I read, I learned how to play a solitary card game,
There are very few men worth the hell they put you through. So be very careful about who you give your heart and body to. They might eventually take more than you can handle.”
